I would definately use Reload Gunners for your AA. For US the AA class gunners just
dont seem to be worth it for me and many others. The reload gunners are able to
send much more flack up in the air faster than AA gunners.

AA Gunner is Anti-Aircraft Gunner

AAW is Anti-Aircraft Warfare

The Auto Gun that you see firing when the Aircraft is close is AAW, Some think it Auto
Aircraft Weapon.

Reload Gunner is the best for USN, Use the 3/70 1.2 sec reload and 37 degrees
golden angle, around LVL 50ish BVE there pretty good however you will need to use
Manual FSC.

The AA-Gunner in USN I do not know why they made them but they should have
gave it good reload so it can be what they meant for .

per LordKelvin, I use reload gunners for AA...they fire faster and accuracy isn't of
paramount importance, lead in the air is. Read LK's guides...if you haven't, you
should immedidately.

I love my US AA gunners, they are standad crew and will make a kill with 1 to 5
broardsides.

I see reload gunners firing 20 to 50 broardsides for teh same result.

I like them I use them and they work :)

People will disagree but thats cool :D

You use AA to shoot down enemy planes. This can blind the enemy (shooting down all
planes, but especially scouts), clear a path for your own team's planes (fighters), and
keep friendly ships from being damaged/sunk (bombers).

There is an AA gunner class, but for US it is generally far better to use reload gunners.
The stickied AA guide in this forum should also help.
