jazzmeh	seamans work only on support slots,Gun and AA gun slots are is not the proper slot for seamans ^^.

KinLuu	Debatable. It works on overheat time in R-Slots. And on restore/soft defence, wich can be easily tested. So I would be very confused if it works on those two abilities but not on fighter ability.

Stormvanger	Seaman's full ability only works in support slot. In any other slot, the seaman does not enhance other sailors and only provides repair and restore.
