  • Help with a newbie's US Crew?

So I spent a while trying to roll a really good base stat crew but eventually got tired
and felt i was running out of points. These are their stats:

2 BO's (15 pot)
2 gunners (12/9 acc/rel) **
2 AA gunners (10/12 acc/rel)
1 scout (12 air)
1 repair (11/12 rep/res) **
3 repair (12/9 rep/res) **
1 engine (11/11/11 rep/res/eng) **
1 engine (10/9/12 rep/res/reng)
1 engine (9/10/11 rep/res/eng) **
1 engine (10/10/11 rep/res/eng) **

** are all the ones I'm worried about.

I thought i was going to get 12/10 gunners and rel wasnt that important so i
deleted my 11/11's. But now i'm thinking i should go for 11/11's? But my gunners are
already the most leveled at lvl 16. Should i go back and get better 11/11's?

And i have a 11/12 rep/res. I thought about making him a good restorer, but arent
those pretty much worthless past like lvl 65 when you get 900SD. And if he shouldnt
be a restorer, would he be a good repairer or should i try to get a 12/9 or 12/10
rep/res?

For the other Repairers, is the 9 restore stat high enough for a repairer or should I
re roll those?

For my biggest concern, the engys. I only have 1 12eng that i know is good, but
what about the other 3? I have an 11/11/11, but is the eng stat alot more important
and i need to get somtin like a 9/9/12 or higher? Same goes with the other ones?
Will rerolling them all to 12 eng stat help alot more than if i kept them at their
current stats?

What about classing the sailors? are there any unusual classing i should worry
about? I'm thinking about making my gunners acc/rel/rel?

I appreciate all input on helping me out guys, i know i have alot of questions. I've
used the search bar but i hear mixed things, and i want to know for sure so i dont
regret any choices in the long run. Thank you

if u play on cv gunners are good but not most important.
Roll fighters min. +12 and bombers with same base.
u can search on forum to choose your setup 5/3 or 6/2 (fighters/bombers)

about other sailors roll Seaman with +11/12 fighter and medic +14/15 pot.
Enginers and others support sailors are almost useless. With only pilots u will reach 900
SD but on high lvl like 100-110. With restorer it will be ofc faster. On my cv i dont have
any support sailor just 6 fighters and 2 torp bombers + seaman. Sometimes i take 2 gunners
but rarely use them. Waste of time grinding support for cv.

10/10/11 rep/res/eng
are fine. Not the best in term of main ability, but is well rounded.
That engineers at high lvl combine with other engie with the same base, will give you a good
repair rate and "ok" overheat time.
10/10/12 are EPIC good, but don't put too much effort in it.

Ditch any other that has 11 in engie but not 10 in repair/res

11/12 rep/res makes "ok-good" repairer. Later, if you need to train a low lvl crew, using him
alone, will provide a crapload amount of SD.

11/11/11 engi > ellite engie or any fail 9/9/12. We are talking about the overall, same
reasons as above. We are talking abount long term + combo of other crew or training low lvl
sailor.
