Anthologie
Hey there,

Been playing once in a while this game and I'm starting to understand all the
complex basis of this game. However, there are a few things I'm still missing.

First, here's my current setup:
UK - Tribal DD
4x 4"/ 45 cal QF HK Mk XVI
1x torp Mark VIII
Heavy DD engine
Aiming FCS
Speed: 36 / 45 OH

CREW
BO lv19
Gunners 11-11 (x3) lv 20
3 Engys lv 13 - 20

Displacement 2530 / 2700

The problem is, I almost don't have any space left for armor. My guns are one of the
less heavy one. (50.4 each) On every guides Ive read, they all say: "never ever cut
on your recruits". Am I missing something over armoring? (btw, if you have any
suggestions over my current setup, i would glady enjoy receiving advices.)

Another thing, my current speed sucks for a DD right? 36 / 45 is kinda slow for a
DD..? Engys aren't supposed to help resolving this problem?

A few months back (maybe 10-11) I've played for a while this game and I even got to
point I've bought a York. Everyone were telling me that this was an awsome ship.
However, Ive tried trip 8" and the spread was terrible to the point ive asked some
guy how this could be possible. They all said I should start over a new ship but
keeping the same gunners to upgrade them even more (i stopped playing a few days
after and my account has been restarted). I've got lvl 20 gunners and almost have
no displacement left, how could I manage to up lv 40 gunners?

Thanks!

Forget the Tribal, it cannot be Armored properly. Level till the L class, then you can AW that (by
removing the rear cannons, you can put more than enough belt to bounce mid level CL guns)

The York, at level, has bad spread (like any other CA, really). It is when you start nearing the Renown
level that they start to blockshot. Also, don't remodel to the Surrey; York serves its purpose better
than the Surrey.

Most of the ships, you just put 0.2" belt and as much bulge before you lose 1 knot. Your
speed is fine.
