No dissenting voice here.... Sevas will save your sanity till you get to Colorado. Go for it.

Best known feature = lots of shells (der) lesser known feature = a great wriggle. This
boat will teach you how to swerve in and out of your enemies fire lines.

The sweetness of getting back into the Sevas once you have Iowa crew is a wicked
tight spread and supports that can make the Sevas pretty speedy. Not to mention
helping to level all those durn supports you will need to keep adding.

i hope you're not considering about skipping the sodak

like those above, i also went sevas-colo-sodak-iowa...etc. I used the guam after i was at
higher levels since it owns with mid-high level engies.

sodak's range over colorado is significant enough. and personally, i feel like sevas gets
a weee bit more range than colo just cus of the spread

I did the same thing as japex, I used the Sevas to skip Alaska/Guam for the most part and
stayed on the Sevas for about half the grind through the Colorado just so my gunners and
everything would be useful on the Colorado. I still did use the Guam for alittle while
because to me it wasent the worst ship I had ever played to that point (even though US was
my very first grind ever and I was a serious noob) it has a great AA battery so you can
rack up some good exp as a support ship and your main guns are still big enough that you
can defend yourself without too much trouble if someone wonders in too close. I deff
suggest playing the Sodak though as that was one of my favorite ships out of everything I
have played yet.

Er, SoDak range > Colorado range. Not by a huge amount, but it's there.

(though Sevastopol ~= Colorado)

Hey mate the nice thing about a seva is it has the same support slots as a iowa and same
range as both the sodak and colo so the only bad part is your exp drops if you dont switch
to the normal game ships. but if you use it right then you wont notice a difference

Well if you are getting sevas for free, I say go for it. Easy ride to Colorado/SoDak/Iowa.
But I suggest playing the normal ships as well to gain experience on how to play US
BBs.

I myself used pbbed till Colorado then played Colo, SoDak and Iowa till Monty. I play
pbb when I get bored.
