I would do RLD next so in the end they would be ACC-ACC-RLD thats what I did with my
gunners and I never had a problem with mine and they were base 10/10 (fist set of gunners)

"I personally have 11/11 acc-acc-acc gunners at high level. they perform just as well as
elites. And remember, over-vetting your gunners dont really help once the caps are
reached. Some people have 200 vets on their gunners and that's just unnecessary extra
weight, which will take a toll later on."

Having more vets on actually reduces weight. More vets on, more recruits can be pulled
off to still maintain the cap.

mrbunny,

your gunners are fine, especially since they are elites.

the whole "classing the gunners right" idea is to reach the accuracy and reload cap as
early as possible. (where accuracy caps out pretty early, and reload cap hits a bit later)

that being said, you will reach both caps even with 10/10 acc-acc-acc classed gunners
eventually (probably at close to lvl 90)

I personally have 11/11 acc-acc-acc gunners at high level. they perform just as well as
elites. And remember, over-vetting your gunners dont really help once the caps are
reached. Some people have 200 vets on their gunners and that's just unnecessary extra
weight, which will take a toll later on.

Once the caps are reached. Your spread on the guns will depend on the LEVEL of the
gunners. More levels above the gun level will give you better spread

EDIT: for AA, go rld-rld-rld. i have 9/12s for that and i wished they were 8/12s.
(although using them on the iowa actually gives decent spread)

Uh this is bad news for me. So How bad are my gunners going to be if I class them
acc acc rld or acc acc acc? They are boosted and elited. Currently they are acc acc :(
my aa
gunners are rld rld :(

Rest of my crew : 4 lvl 50 engies and 4 lvl 50 repairs.

Im really down that I classes my gunners wrong.. Would it be worth it to just sell
them and start over? :(

The 2 best ways to class US Gunners for main Guns:

Acc Rld Acc

or

Rld Rld Acc

2 best ways for US AA are:

Acc, Rld, Rld

or

Rld Acc Rld

Whats the rest of your crew look like? And I found the Colorado to be a very fun ship I
stayed in my Sevas about half way through the Colorado just to make sure my Lvls were high
enough to get a decent spread and my supports were up to par then I never touched my Sevas
again I just stayed in the Colorado and ground till Sodak and even then your pb better off
staying in either the Colorado or Sevas whichever you prefer untill around lvl 84-85, and
do the same when you get to the Iowa stay in the Sodak untill around 94-95 then move up to
Iowa.

sevas is a tank already. you probably dont have good supports to give you soft defense.

go AA and get those supports experted up
