  • XP loss for retreat

There needs to be a way to penalize players, especially flagships, CV4+ and BB4+
who retreat after the battle starts. You see so many who dont like the split dont like
this or that and just retreat. Im not talking about ppl who crash, but spoiled
wankers. There needs to be a significant xp and monetary LOSS for that type of
behavior.

The ships crew should feel the shame of retreat.

just no. Because the people who retreat already get no xp anyways... so this is
useless.

I think you should be punished for your crappy CV play first, then we can talk.

How about you just remove the retreat function while you're at it? Why the hell did they
even implement it if they didn't want anyone to use it?!

@rvail
The current system for people crashing, disconnecting, pulling the plug does not reward xp
whatsoever.

Im a cv player mostly. If I go out of border, I should have been paying attention
more. Knowing your ships position is a very important part of this game, wouldnt
you say? Also there are many land-locked maps to avoid this.

And, assigning flag status after the battle starts would fix many flag crashes

I dont mean crashers. I mean players who deliberately retreat. I mean those who
answer "yes" to retreat menu. When they hit "yes" they get an automatic penalty.
Sure they can crash to desktop, ctrl+alt+del, whatever, then at least their time is
being wasted restarting the game. And the 60 second count down should be
removed. Its useless.

Your logic is seriously flawed, thats still a gain.

I dont lose cookies just because i made 54 instead of the 10000 I COULD have
made. That loss is imaginary.

I mean an actually loss. A flat rate percentage based on lvl would be deducted. Yes,
loss of xp gained from previous battles.

A LOSS, not an insignificant gain, a LOSS.
