Hello guys, got a few questions.

I've actually just started a MN crew but I'm already asking myself questions beforehand so
I don't make mistakes I did the first time around. (With my US crew which is around bb2 level)

In the US section there is a gunner classing thread and the suggestions seem to be for the
r gunners to be classed: ACC ACC RLD, or RLD RLD RLD.

What I wanted to know is if that applies to MN as well, or if it is different somehow. The
sticky above says MN gunners class like KM and IJN but after doing a search I didn't find
much info.

In addition I would assume that AA gunners just get classed RLD RLD RLD correct?

Finally, two question regarding veterans...since I believe I fell behind on vet rolling
for my US gunners and BO. Is 109 the max number of veterans that you really need on any
specific sailor? And, how early do you want to start rolling for veterans? I ran into the
problem of not seeing my shells when I got my New York last night, and had to do some
extreme rolling.

Thanks in advance for any questions answered!

Haha thanks for the answers guys...surprised I didn't think to look at the classing chart
for my first two questions.

I think I got the 109 from one of LordKelvin's guides, although I need to read back
through to find where that was said.

Thanks for the info on the vets, I guess I just need to build up some experts to roll.

Any other tips towards my MN grind?

I usually only roll vets up to 50 or 60, then buy my way to 100. It starts to cost more
than 100 experts per 10 vets, so I just buy them.

Not seeing your shells land will always happen, make sure you have full experts
first, having 10 extra vets wont help if you have no experts.
remember 10 vets= 40 experts (roughly)

"4. The sooner the better. As you level up it gets harder to vet. Getting from 0-100 at
level 120 is harder than at like 40 or something. Or at least I've been told."

Not exactly true... it gets harder as you have more vets RELATIVE to your level. So for
example, if you are level 100, and you have 0 vets, it will probably take you 15 rolls to
get 50 vets.

On the other hand, if you are level 15, it will probably take you many rolls to get even
30 vets.

So obviously, as you approach 100 vets, it will be hard regardless of level. I think this is
how it works.

Well I will try my best to help you here.
I honestly don't play MN but after a bit of research I got your answers.

1. Class on time, and there is no RLD or ACC gunner. There is only gunner (23), heavy
gunner (43), huge gunner (65), and chief gunner (79). Again you don't get to choose
ACC or RLD, there is only 1 way to class other than if you class then as torp man.

2. AA gunners get classed just like normal gunners because of no separate RLD or ACC
class.

3. Depends. What level is the BO and what ship? There is no "max that you need."
There is a max number of vets, but the more the merrier.

4. The sooner the better. As you level up it gets harder to vet. Getting from 0-100 at
level 120 is harder than at like 40 or something. Or at least I've been told.
