  • LVL 1-70 or 80 Room

I don't know if this has been suggested in the past but i have finally gotten powned
enough in GBII to put up a post.

What i am suggesting is a room that is designed for players lvl1-70 or 80 but more
spacifically the pour saps at lvl 61 who are getting thrust out into GBIIs and are having
a hard time learning how to play their BBs, CVs, and subs. Now reading the forms is fine
but when it comes down to it you still get powned by the high lvl bbs in a GBII, as a
result many players convert back to an aa ship until say lvl 80 or so and then have little
or no experiance sailing their ship and don't know how to play. This new room would give
players a chance to get their feet under them and learn how to play their nations ships
before being thrust in to the GBIIs. I think that this would help the first time player
population as well as players who are trying to learn the play style of other nations, so
what do you think. If you like please recomend.

Well it has. There have been a few that fit in the same category that this one is
suggesting. So please search next time and add your thoughts into a thread that already
has a well thought out post to either rebuttal or add too.

Will107 if you had read the post in its entirety you would know that it is aimed at making
a room that is mini gb, the jump from blitz to gb can be a total wipe out for new players
and a way for experienced players with new crew to get past thous first 20 lvls or so. I
blitz bbs tend to be AHs with guns that reload fast with very little rang, in gb you need
to be light and fast with as much range as possible. Cvs go from being bomber oriented in
blitz, to being fighter oriented in gbs. Reading the forms is nice and all but you still
need to practice the GB tactics to make them work and and they are hard to make work in
blitz where you are picking off rushing dds or using the trip8/6s for better spread, this
would give players a chance to hone their skills before going up against tier 4,5, and6
bbs and cvs that will decimate you if you don't know how to play gbs. pretty much it is a
transition room from blitz to gb so your not cot complietly unprepared when you go into GBs.

"are having
a hard time learning how to play their BBs"

Well perhaps thats something you should have taken upon yourself to learn before you got
kicked out of blitzrush. You gave atleast 4 or so levels with any BB1 to learn how to play
it properly before you enter GB, perhaps you should have spent you time doing that rather
then going to Blitz and Rushing DD's in your big bad BB and shooting them at 2-5 degrees.

I am glad to hear that i have some supporters. These rooms would be like a mini Great
Battle room, open to all class of ships but only for players up to level 70 or 80. It
would likely have a max BB population of between 12-16 and CV population of between 6-10
allowing a maximum of 6-8 Battleships and 3-5 Carriers per team. The experience, credit,
and point rates would have to be decided but I think a balance amount would be best. By
this I am referencing the fact that you got to Blitz to credits, and Great Battles for
experience, this room would be more of a balanced mix of the two.

The advantages for Battleships would be
-Tier 1 and 2 Battleships can learn how to play their ships against higher level
Battleships with nothing higher then a BB3 to worry about.
-The rooms would use slightly smaller maps then Great Battles but still have an overall
lower Battleship density then the Great Battles allowing for easier targeting of enemy ships.

The advantage for Carriers would be
-The ability to fight other Carriers that are roughly the same level as themselves.
-Carriers would have a chance to convert from being a ship whose primary role was to sink
enemy ships, to a support vessel that is their to blind the other team while guaranteeing
that its teams ships have an unobstructed field of view.
-Carriers could perfect their methods of attacking higher level Battleships and dealing
with dedicated Anti-Aircraft ships with out having to concern themselves about high level
fighters being ready to down their bombers in half a second.

The advantages for Submarines would be
-Subs would gain few advantages other than they are playing against lower level ships then
they would be in Great Battles.
-Subs would actually be at a slight disadvantage as a result of many Anti-sub ships would
join these rooms rather then Great Battles where they are easy pickings for high level
Battleships.

This is the more formal version of my plan as I was very tired when I made the thread.

If you like the idea then please recommend it, as well as leave your idea as to what the
max level, credit and point, and experience earning rates should be.

If you have a question, comment, or concern please post it and I will do my best to give
you an answer as soon as possible.

I do appreciate CONSTRUCTIVE criticism as I believe that it can help to make the game a
better place to spend time, but please don't just say that this idea sucks and not leave a
reason as to why you don't like this suggestion as it is no help in fixing what you might
not like or see as a problem.

One last thing, if thous players that replied before this segment was posted, could delete
their post and then re-post their comments, it would make me very happy as this would put
my main post up at the top of the page making it easier to identify what I am trying to say.

I send a thank you to all loyal fans of Navy Field that are just trying to make the game a
better place.

Sincerely, Junkers101

Hmmm...this is a very good Idea.
especially for when ppl are in lets say a Renown. LOL unless they have lvl 85+ crew
they are pretty much dead in GB2.

well, they're called CA/BB rooms...and CV rooms. Unfortunately, no one actually
enters those rooms. I've tried a dozen or so times when I was in the 50's and low
60's to set up lower teired rooms...only to have them time out.

Good luck with this one.

I agrees, my new CV Ryujo is level 61, the only way I know I can do anything is with
locals .. You cant win with locals because this game is all about sight.

At least a baby room for baby cvs.

I agree with this idea. I finally got my Seyditz at 55 and by the time I learned to use
it, I'm above lvl 61 so I can only get in GB and every time I do so, my aircraft are
slaughtered by the high-level CV's that have t3 or higher fighters that my t1s and bombers
have no chance against.
