If you can tolerate the ammo limitations, the 5"/38 singles outperform the 5"/25 in pretty
much every measure. (Even damage per shell post BB34AA)

Not exactly. To have your scout killed by USN AA it means that you have stupidly left it
in range of the lowest range AA. In the case of the 5" single AA its range is probobly the
worst in the USN AA arsenal. Just because you lower your scout does not mean it will not
be killed by AA. Theres more to controlling your planes then adjusting the height every
once in awhile.

Meaning they send them at default height.

Ya those guns arnt great but most of the GB tards send their scouts and forget. They also
work on the fletcher.

I use the 5"/25 singles on my New York for the "Lol I gots ur scoutz!" factor. They 1-
shot scouts..They have no range, but still. It's funny as hell.

I did the same thing in a Nevada. Snipe scouts, "WTF HOW U KILL MY SCUTZ IN
NEVADA?!"

I loved it.

For historical setup, the singles looks sexy. But in-game, with less bind and less
broadside firepower, having those AA isn't feasible. Put support crews instead since NY
EBB doesn't have good speed. Having engineers on the support slot and repairers on
the T slot is better.

Personally I've chosen to take the AA off of my New York, because I don't have much
experience with BB's as of yet.

I want to say the few games I did play with AA I used the same thing (Singles right?),
there isn't too much space anyways, and I think that's the only set up guns you can have
with any decent amount of ammo.
