lol Mike, when he asked "what do you think?", I don't think he wanted it verbatim. :P

What country are you in? I assume the USA but you never know...
As for screens...well i believe that 30FPS is the absolute max that humans can see so a
60Hz screen with 100fps won't be any different from a 100Hz screen at 100fps, other than
price.

Also, have you considered AMD processors? Nvidia or ATI? What motherboard do you want,
does it need to be able to overclock. Do you want aftermarket cooling? Do you want to run
RAID? Do you need either of SLI or Crossfire? How big do you want it to be, physically.
How much HDD space do you need? Standard HDD or Solid State Drive? And most importantly
cost. How much?

*edit thanks to comment from quietcos*

I5 cores or better will process fine but so will a core2duo or core2quad. AMD cores have
the same tech as I5s and have done for years so stands to reason the tech that separates
I5/7 from C2D is gonna be better in the AMD cores so. :)

Like others have said you're gonna want a bit more in the way of Graphics memory for many
2006+3D games...

Screen, meh as long as it's above 30Hz it'll be fine.

Ram, 4GB will be fine. You need a 64bit OS to handle more than 3 which means you'd have to
buy W764bit and have everything digitally signed which is a pain, especially when you're
building your own computer. Alternatively if you're a linux user and you run NF through
wine then 4+GB and a 64bit version of linux will work fine. Also, 8GB or DDR3, to make it
worth it, will have to be fairly high quality DDR3, which means your budget is gonna get
chomped through.

Overall you can't really say that your "setup" is any good because it's rather vague. send
me a message in the message box thing on the website about what you want and i'll draw
something up for you

"is that an ok gaming puter considering its not a custom build? "

You play WoW on that? Many Elves just ate their own children rather than leave them to the
mercy of that beast.

@ OP, As sindher said, it depends on what you want to use it for... as we all know, you
could go online with ganny's sewing machine and it could run NF... Latest 3D games are an
entirely different story.

EDIT: If you tell us your budget someone might even put together a Newegg cart for you ;)

let me take a crack at it:

is that an ok gaming puter considering its not a custom build?

Sorry but thats a shitty build. Need more specifics.

I usually see PC builds built around what its mainly going to be used for. I've got this
absolute monster because I run like 3/4 games at once some days.

What are you mostly going to be doing?

Get a better video card, though you have to specify the video card.

Also, from my experience wireless keyboards tend to eat batteries.

The refresh rate of your monitor is pretty important, as well as its response time. If
you get a regular 60 hz monitor then your screen won't be able to show your awesome 100
frames per second. It'll be stuck at 60 (which, imo, is enough, but hey, everyone is
different).

Try to nail down the specific parts rather than a ball park figure if you want s'more
advice. And an expected price range would be good, too.
