Today is my first day. I have decided to go with the USN route. I looked over the ships,
read the reviews and decided on the Fletcher as the DD to have. I have leveled my BO and
crew to L6. Is there any advantage to buy the BB package deal and get the L12 grew now
with the DD MP? Or, should I instead use my $$$ on something else as L12 seems to come
pretty quick. Suggestions? Thanks, Lion

@ PHM, thanks for the crew advice. It seems like you are a little heavier on the engine
room than some of the guides; then again, everyone here seems to like speed better vs
armor so I guess it makes sense!

@Koala Thanks for the advice. I think that I want to play both. I keep going back and
forth about the starter packs and decided it wasn't worth it - Then for some reason after
the update I lost my whole ship!

Yes, I gave the CV vs BB a lot of thought. I decided that I wanted to do both, so I
figured that I could buy one starter pack, then when I figure out where my FF and crew
went, I could start a second line.

Class 1 radioman when any of ur sailor reach lvl 6.

If you go for BB line till highest tier, below sailor u need to prepare, beside BO
-2 acc gunner (for main gunner)
-2 reload gunner (for AA gun)
-5 Engineer
-3 Repairer
-1 scout

U may get use of your existing sailor first, and look for above sailor when u reach
CL/CA.

Shouldn't take too much time. Even if you lose you get a level a match. Don't buy the
starter packs. It honestly isn't quite worth it. Better to just buy premium sailors than
elites (I know they sound almost same but they aren't). But you going SS, BB, or CV
here? It's something you need to decide fast. Oh and some last second advice, DON'T
CLASS ANY SAILORS TO RADIOMAN YET!!!!!!!! It will ruin the crew. Don't class until level
12 and then make them US sailors.

Alrighty. Then I guess the Fletcher will stick when I'm done. I guess its time to level
for me and get up to L12!

It can be worth keeping old ships around (especially some DD/CL/CA) for various roles. As
for training sailors, it's probably best to look ahead to what you'll need (yay for
guides!), and rotate supports around/level most-all of them at the same time.

Hello Raptor. Thanks for the advice. I guess spending the $$ on their package doesn't make
any sense. I didn't see where it told me to sign up for premium service but I'll just go
back again and look. I also was considering what you said up leveling 2 BOs so that I
could play both. Its hard to know what to do when you haven't really played yet!

I assume that you can have multiple ships in the fleet. Should I keep around a few of them
as I go along, so I can train new sailors? Thanks for taking the time to answer my noob
questions. There are indeed a lot of guides out there, but with no understanding of the
game at all, its hard.

Welcome to NF. There are a lot of good guides stickied in the various forums. Also,
trainworld.us and nf-guides.com have a lot of good information

$$$ would be better spent on boosts, vets, experts, sometimes individual elite sailors,
premium CAs/BBs, and the like.

What do you want to play? BB, CV, SS, or something else? Note that a moderately popular
(and useful) strategy is to level 2 BB BOs, and go down both lines for the variety and xp.

As far as game types go, I recommend messing around a bit in blitz. Especially if the map
isn't hobbit war. In Great battles, you're limited to just AA or sub hunting for a very
long time.

Finally, you should learn manual aiming (aiming fcs) as soon as possible. It will make
things much easier later on.
