If you are going for the BB line then the Oyodo is not what you want, I think. You'd have
to train pilots, and you won't use them on a BB. But with the Mogami you'll train only
sailors that will be used on a BB, and you'll learn better how to use guns and that. I
suppose the Oyodo is like a CV training, and a Mog will be like a BB training.

The Agano isn't terrible; it's just that, without the T2 scout-fighter being able to auto-
engage as true fighters do, it cannot serve its true role (as a reconniassance cruiser
and counter-reconnaissance cruiser, scouting enemies and destroying 'their' scouts).

There is, however, no point in remodelling if you are not going to level true fighter or
bomber pilots; the loss of a 6-inch triple turret is not worth the gains in other areas,
which are comparatively marginal (the Agano embarks sufficient scouts for blitz, and
doesn't draw the enemy's bomber-attention like the Oyodo almost certainly would).

The Agano is a better gunship than the Oyodo -- only remodel if you have a CV crew.

(Yes, I just called the Agano better than something.)

Don't waste the money of the remod.

If your goal is to be a BB driver then there is no need to start a carrier crew on an
Oyodo. But the Oyodo with scouts equipped with mines and torpedoes in the T
slots can be alot of fun in blitz.
