will compensate him for the loss off speed/overheat/repair that the aditional crew would
provide.

Havng 1 engy is really not an option. As has been posted previously, you need 14 crew for
a BB6 and its best to be prepared now.
Start a new BO and level the rest of your crew. You need to have a total crew of 14 with a
roughly even mix of Eng/Reps

(1) for hipper at level, please use KM CV Power Plant I - Heavy

(2) you will not need engineer for it

(3) you better make your ship lighter, hipper is weight sensitive

(4) if you are going to use the 5.9" gun to grind for level, you will fail.

(5) if you are going to use 1 engineer only, you will need lots of money to buys 100k
unit"s" of expert for him

Only problem with your gunners being the same as your BO is when you get BB4. The lvl for
BB4 is 89 but the BB4 guns are 91. That's the only situation I see that it'll become an issue.

Get the extra BO, and at least (total) 5 engy, 3rep, main guns, AA guns, and a scout

plan for bb6 whether you are aiming for it or not

Gunners and BO being the same level in itself is not an issue. The issue comes up with
how you personally choose to progress through ships. A level 89 BO and 89 Gunners on a
BB1 is perfectly fine, a Level 89 BO and 89 Gunners on a BB4 is an issue.

If a person is fine with staying in a ship for 3-5 extra levels each time the BO matched
with the gunners will not kill you, just means you prolong your next ship a little bit.

However the benefits to bringing up a second or third line certainly overshadow any
problems with it. Keeping supports in line is best accomplished by a second line. If you
rotate some the first time, you can bring up extra supports to either sell or use for
another crew.

It's something of an issue. I'd recommend that you level them up with your Deutschland*
BO at some point in the near future.

*You do have 2 BB BOs, right?
