Depending on the pilots you have using locals, they are not definitive credit earners.
While you make have more in shoot downs, the cost to replace Locals is significantly
higher than that of Tiered fighters.

I'll edit this as I do not have a chance to look, I do remember the value for shooting
down a local was decreased (after CV wars abing with locals) but believe the actual cost
to replace remained the same.

Thankx :) I dont think I will be BVE my pilots, But ima try to get the 100 vets and
experts just by taking the gamble. Hopefully theyll still be okay

I prefer the T1's(Wildcats) for Blitz though, because I can camp the enemy cvs this way.
In addition, I like to learn about dragging fighters and scout for my team. It even has
capacity to hold off T4's by delaying them in CoDs

Locals (Ascenders) can't do drag due to short fuel capacity and they are only short-
range interceptors which can be bad when you can only react to a bomber squadron
coming your way, or worse, two waves of bombers! Locals also take up more space. They're good at earning you creds but if you really want to learn being a CV and some
teamplay, you have to abandon them at some point, especially CV3(Yorktown) stage. T2's are where it's at when GB rolls in, later on T3's or even T4's.

And BVE, to be more accurate, is a sailor that has at least close to 100 vets, full to the
brim experts and has 'boosted' ability pack used on them. You can find the boost pack
in NF store so that actually means spending money on the sailors. Bonus points if it's an
Elite sailor.

Well for you ascender is the only fighter that you can manage unless you want to
loose a lot of fighters. Ascenders have a short range but an incredible fire power. As
you mentioned you just got the bogue, your fighters are not good enought for
fighting against othe fighters. That is way you must have ascenders and use them
protecting the BBs and destroying the enemy scouts and bombers.

Yes leave as fighter but no more then ace, same as bombers. To understand why read the
guide on true ability in tips and tactics. And Hellcats are better then just about any
fighter. :P
