Reading the post about a mobile page suggestion made me think about a better Navyfield mobile solution.
WHAT IF WE WOULD HAVE A NAVYFIELD IPHONE/ANDROID GAME?
Lets see some points:
- Jogability:
We all know the nowadays phones have a good resolution and hardware. With the tapping system wich is high used on touch phone games as aim and a virtual touch button to fire the jogability will be almost the same that we have with autoaim on the desktop version.
Ofcourse, this will have to be extended to BB's in a mobile plataform, but thats just a start idea, i think TNF could figure out a way to use the touch system to play the game better than me, since im not a engineer but a adman.
I know you guys dont like the auto aim, me neither, but i think angles thing on a mobile device wont work because of the "not that big" screen and this system could easily give us some fun when we want to play just some battles in a casual way.
- Content:
* But how to gather some players? Will the existing desktop players download it?
Well, make the navyfield account shared, for both desktop and mobile devices.
The Navyfield Team could add some exclusive content to only those who are in the iPhone/Android app could buy. Like unique ships, one DD,CL,CV,CA,BB.
Im not talking about premium itens, but ships who can only be bought with the mobile version with the normal credit system. We have iPhone games that already do that.
Making the account being shared among desktop and mobile version will bring some desktop players who wants to buy the unique ships to mobile version and the mobile users who wants the full game experience to the desktop version.
Think this about a way to "unlock" unique ships, after bought with mobile navyfield game, you could use it at desktop as well.
- Tournaments:
Since we have some "fight" among the iphone x android users and the phones are almost the same at hardware, this bring a possibility of doing battle rooms with the "iOs x Android" Tag to the players fight each others. This room could be oppened only in the mobile version and have only the mobile unique ships.
That would work just like the system we already have in the CVs rooms and BBs rooms. A desktop user who already bought his unique ship, could enter in this room as well.
- Market:
At least at Apple's App store, the game has a great potential becoming on the top charts, specially with a simple and fun gameplay and the most important thing being FREE. Theres a bunch of silly free games at Apple App Store, a good and well done one is rare and easily become a "must have".
Since Navyfield do their profits by "cash store system" offering a free game opens a new market who is not explored by the Navyfield team until now.
Exploring the mobile world, could bring a new bunch of costumers and players, since the both stores are highly present in any country, a free and good game could be used as a great strategy of marketing rising profits at the cash store and also bring new players in a cross platform way.

Ok, after all that i would like to say im a iphone user and a adman. I saw this market oportunity and im sharing this suggetion because as a player i really would like a iPhone app and since ive seen some games in this platform, i think its not a impossible job to do this and that could be a great opportunity to the company and even bring us some competition since this hype about "ios x droid" is in the market.
This may be just a crazy idea but well, what do you players think about it?
