I completely agree with you that it has to be removed for the sake of all concerned people.

Though I mentioned that you can bypass it via sandbox without any possibility for someone
else to notice it. Just lock it into it's padded cell and let the little devil run riot ^^

Even if you can figure out how to play it without using HS, you run the risk of them
catching and then banning you later, thus giving them an excuse for never refunding your
money should there really be a lawsuit. Also, we need to consider the new people that try
to join. NF will just tell them "oh, its no big deal, people have been playing all along
with no problems". No, the only solution here is for removal.

You don't have to erase your hdd to remove HS and all of it's hidden entrys. Just google
for instructions on how to do it.

I tried to offer no information on it all all. But word already spreads on this forum on
how to bypass and/or deactivate Hackshield and play Navyfield without running it :)

this update contains hackshield (a trojan virus) it logs your keystrokes,scans
memory,scans hhd files, and it opens a hole in your firewall for other programs to run
through.

if you have downloaded the update allready and wish to remove it, the only option is to
remove everithing out of ur pc, do a hard wipe on your hdd, then re install windows.

also if you are one of the people that install it and use online banking or other
sensetive sites with vital information about you. please do not use them as to where we
dont know who or what is watching your keystrokes.

If you already patched NF, the rootkit is still on your computer.
