you could use the lighter version of 16" for being armor whores.
otherwise, to hit hard and level fast, stick with 14" quad normal set

Depends on your playstyle. If you have patience and 900SD then 2 quads on the PoW is
ownage :) especially against retreating ships. If you want lots of range go for the 16"
MK1 Ls, although the spread is appalling, good luck if you want to get more than one shell
on target per 2 salvos. The 14" Ls are the middle ground, they do the same damage as the
Ns and have a range that is fairly close to the 16"Mk1 Ls, but not quite, and the spread
is a lot better than the 16"s. It's not an appalling spread but it's not a block

The N stands for normal. It's just the first set. Not the L's or D's.

What level do you get the Quad Ns?
I only see the Mark III
Mark III L
and Mark III D

Stick to the quad N...keep the block (very tight spread to be exact). No change. The L
version won't block.

I've been using it until now lvl 107 and still use:) Running at 48kt, range is not too big
problem, though it is a problem.
