Omg this is so lame, I just wasted 600 dollars on a new comp and my 23" wide screen looks
like crap, after doin much research on running in windows mode for win7 that option is out
now as well. Not all intel graphics menu's contain the same options based on your
hardware. (I dont have the option to run in window), I'm not even going to waste my time
trying out d3d or dxwnd, cause hack shield isnt going to allow it. The game is
increasingly becoming aggrivating to play in a display that can support a game with way
better resolution then 640x480 stretched!,,, oh wow look i can see my aa guns turn now, oh
crap who's shooting me, oh that guy taking up over half my display up, OMG !!!!! BTW im
runnin a:

dual core 3.2 ghz processor
6gb in memory
win7 home
64 mb dedicated /1560mb shared Intel g43/g45 video card
1tb harddrive
23 in flat panel


nf running in winxp sp2 compatibility mode (crashes everytime i try to exit the game)

with nvidia, i believe you can launch the control panel by looking for this file -
"nvcplui.exe"
I'm not sure where it is though. use the advanced search on your computer

Sks actually with nvidia i can't find it... do u know any other way to run in in window mode?!

Does DXWnd really work on Vista too ? Or for that matter any other window software ?
I got so friggin tired, I got a new monitor. But if anybody could suggest a software to
run NF in window that would be awesome !!!

You can change your graphics settings from your video card control panel
For mine (intel)

control panel>
under appearance and personalization, adjust screen resolution>
advanced settings>
Intel graphics and media control panel>
Graphics properties>
change aspect ratio to windowed

Of course, if you have a different video card, the way to access the video card control
panel will be different
