So trying to do the right thing and train a scout for my first BB (before I get it). I
branched and trained a rookie pilot. I put him on the Brooklyn, although for blitz in
hobit map it wasn't needed, just to learn how to operate. Big mistake!

First, blitz is no place to learn for that - no time as there were mad auto-gun-clickers
everywhere with torps flying. I managed to get a plane in the air, but I found that the 3D
function was all messed up and that I had problems switching between the plane and ship. I
went to the manual for help and there is nothing there! I also tried the F10 and F5. Is
there a place anywhere that can actually tell me how to control the darn thing? Thanks!

Thanks guys, that was extremely helpful. I was getting very frustrated. Now I know to left
click to get off it and more importantly, the guides taught me some other things the
probably would have come up.

megabstr
heres i do when controlling scout and my ship at the same time

after selecting the plane and got it to fly to where i want to, i press G to bring the
screen back to my ship, and i've developed a habit of "left click then right click" when
i want to move my ship (instead of a simple right click). The left click ensures that i
de-selected the scout before right clicking.

then, when you want to move the scout again, press the plane's pilot number ( '1' if you
are just carrying one scout). The screen will center to where the scout is, as well as
selecting the scout.

i repeat this sequence many times in one battle to control my scout the best i can.
(although t5 scouts spoiled me......a lot)
