I have xp and still get the same issues.

Unintall/Reinstall worked for me. Check Tech support section.

And yes, it does it to me as well, 15-30 second delay then into intro. Had it freeze from
that "black screen" a couple times, which required a reboot.

When you dont have much clue about pc stuff... dont try to play a 10 year old game with a
actual OS (vista, win7).

in my case it seems to hold there for 30 sec a min than it goes ahead with the intro.

and 1s it crashed there so it stayed black
