Looks like i have this problem to.

When i lunching NF i see black screen. Then I crtl+alt+del and kill navyfield proces.
After that i lunch again, two files are downloaded and game start normal.

same problems SDE make a Solution i cant play. 1 month without play.

Yeah sadly i have the same issue, but when i try to make it run as adminstartor it wont
work since it wants a password. Sadly i never found out what it was.

try re-downloading ENFUNS Updater and the manual patch from the game downloads section of
the website. Then make sure you are running ENFUNS Updater, NavyFIELD, Navyfield launcher,
and HSUpdater as an administrator.

i have the same problem but your way does not work.

i'm using win7 on an HP laptop that is on a desk :D
4 gb ram, 300 gb hard drive, 3.37 ghz cpu, directX 9.0
all drivers and anti-virus programs are up-to-date
did the steps in "data corrupted issue" topic 9 times and did not work

I have found if I run NF fixer, let the game get to the blank screen, hit ctrl+end than
re-try It works for me...

Yep I have this same problem on win xp.

Skssoldier just helped me 2 weeks ago after I kept crashing on startup. NOW after this
patch, I have this problem.

Launch NF. Hackshield does its load.

Then the screen goes black like NF is going to start loading; but nothing happens.

Screen just stays black, you waste a few minutes then you have to ctrl-alt-del; end
process to get out.

Then it sucks you in for the whole process again and again to try to get it working.

Every time you ctrl-alt-del and restart it downloads another 1-2 meg file from the update.

THEN, if your real lucky, after many attempts, it may decide to load up as normal then
runs fine, till I crash (weird green screen thing, but that's a whole nother story) then
we repeat the whole process over again.

You couldn't imagine how much fun this is SDE. Hackshield?!?!? I have to hack my computer
every patch to get this game working reliably if at all.

What a joke.

Solutions anyone? Or is it time to permanently move onto other games..
