1.088 predates these forums; I would guess August of 2005, which also fits my personal
timeline as I returned to the game in early August and I recall the Vancouver server opening.

And here's the proof that I was there from the beginning of Iowa/Missouri/Yamato to the end:

I recall that when I joined the server had no name and practically everyone was in an FF, DD, or
CL with CAs being looked on as gods. I don't remember seattle or vancouver but I do
remember being on Bismarck. Took a decent 6 or so month break after retail hit. Came back
and started a new account on MO, this one, even though my old account was still active and on
Arizona for a brief time. Stuck with MO/YO ever since.

Liking what I see in Neb. A server that feels active...something i've not witnessed in quite a
while.

I was in the room when Airwind finally turned 56. Some of us were struggling to properly
out fit our second CL or our first CA with out selling everything we owned.

We all complained publically to TNF who was online on an account with a BB1 at the time.
We got nothing, no help, but as soon as Airwind complained he couldn't afford his Revenge
in the same very room he was given all the credits he needed to purchase and outfit it.
And since no one else at the time had a BB1 at the time he ran over us all and thus became
the dominance of Airwind and his 3000sd crew.

Sorry retractable but that's a load of crap about them gaining all that xp doing
missions because they started at a high level, one day there was one new player
who NOBODY had seen anywhere and he was in a CA and the next day there were
a dozen of them all speaking chinese and in high level ships.

They didn't get the sailors from mods cuz the sailors were not transferable let alone
a BO to get a ship and they were the first group to form a fleet, now how in the hell
could they get a radioman leveled up soooooo fast to make a fleet unless as you
suggest they had somebody playing missions 24/7 on one account (if you believe
that, I have some land for sale).

It's been a long time since I did a mission but if memory serves me right the xp was
next to nothing.

As to how they could log into different servers I'm not sure how it happened but
Nico confirmed that they had done it. Never heard of anybody outside of china who
was accused of hacking.

Yes they knew a few more tricks and even using those tricks to farm us doesn't belie
the fact that none of them were ever seen in a low level rank so how was it done?

Maybe magic!

I doubt very seriously they were able to bring their accounts over - completely different
server data. I tried, and failed, numerous times.

As to how they "magically" showed up in monster accounts, you could 1 vs 1 back in those
days for xp. Then lets throw in missions and whatnot. It was entirely possible to not ever
play a normal game and level up a lot. Then, you throw in macros and the like, and
congrats, you now have a CA, if not a BB.

What most of the so called "vets" on the NA servers fail to understand, is that the Asian
guys treat NF like a JOB. When I played on the Korean server, those guys played some odd
18 hours a day and they knew every little trick to milk the system for extra xp and vet
conversions. I remember doing missions on the Korean server with a Korean player for 12
hours one day just to get experts up, not to mention all the xp earned......

So, while we were new to the game, less than a year playing, those guys had been playing
for several years and already knew every trick in the book. All they had to do was start
over.....

As to them admitting they used their CHN account data, well, maybe they were "given" some
leveled sailors (remember the old Mod crews???) to lure them to play here. That wouldn't
surprise me at all. but to give them exactly what they had on another country's servers, I
doubt it.

@ retractable

Can you explain how laoji and the rest of CC started on the NA server with level +50
ships without ever being seen playing a single game and how laoji got to a BB
before anybody reached CA.

I played every day and never saw any of them in a game and "magically" they show
up and farm evrybody and get BB's in a couple of weeks.

FYI they even admitted that they were using their china server accounts and this
was verified by people like Nicotine123.

ps. I've been on NA server since nov 2004

"The big issue at that time was the players from the china server joining bringing
their BB's while the rest of us still hadn't reached a CA level."

That's an outright lie. If you think that during any time back in the "beginning" that any player from any other
country's server got to have their account moved over, then you are sadly misinformed or just plain out wrong.

I remember when the CL2s were released onto the server, remember Harder_Turd anyone? Yeah, that was
PapaJohns Brookie....

And as far as knowing for 100% that no account was transferred, I started here in Jan 05, went to Korea at some
point, my memory fails me on exact dates, search for posts from jonesbk, and played (due to military PCS) and I
couldn't even get my stuff moved, ex mod and all....

Ah, the memories.....

From what i remember van and seattle were made around December 2004 - Jan 2005... don't
remember the exact date though as I started just after they were both made.
