There have been a succession of people making posts about HS being the cause of their bank account being hacked cos they got an email from their bank saying that it had been hacked. This is an inaccurate linkage and is actually reference to the standard phishing emails that hackers have been sending out for a few years now. I received one about 6 months ago, which is extremely realistic and at first really does make you think it is your bank; however, one quick phone call will reveal it is a fake and to be instantly deleted WITHOUT clicking on any links in it. Using any of the links will take you to a false, but very real looking, website that asks for your online banking login and other personal information. Fill those in and you will be hacked as the details go straight to the bas guys. However, this is nothing at all to do with HS on NF.
If you receive such an email I suggest you immediately contact your bank on their contact number that you should have through other means. By way of an example as to the type of advice you will get please see this:
