  • BB's on AZ/MO

Despite the large amount or 'my server is superior' that went on before Nebby
started, I don't think anyone could have expected the totally different playstyles that
the two servers are using. It has really brought something new to the game,
because we do play very differently.

Just a few observations on AZ:

1) H44's. Sweet jeezus. In most of the BB1-5's I've played 60%+ AZ players have
been in an H44. On MO, there were nearly always less H44's than L2's or Monty's.
I've personally found this rather challenging. Being outranged along the whole line is
a tricky situation.

2) Caution. You guys are super duper cautious compared to MO even in GB's. It's
great IMO. On MO, it was L2 AW rush ftw, every game south. Yet to see much of that
over here on Nebby server.

3) Less Gamewinning Players. MO GB's inparticlar were very often won by one strong
player (BB5) pushing through N or S. The games we are playing atm seem battles of
attrition, than the quick deciders.

Quickly on CV's: I feel less blind than before. I'm a CV noob so that's all I'm saying.

What do you AZ players think of us MO. Try to keep the flaming down just so we
don't get insta-locked...

*only on the Navyfield forums can you get a post that starts off comparing BB's
on AZ/MO playstyle, then veer off on a cock measuring fest*

Epic win!

Too funny, only on the Navyfield forums can you get a post that starts off comparing BB's
on AZ/MO playstyle, then veer off on a cock measuring fest and finally end with unbalanced
content.
What next boys "Invitation Only BB1-5" rooms to find out what server BB players reign
supreme?

AZ SAID:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MO bb's are noob, passive, no skill, and bla bla bla
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ironically, they RECRUIT MO guys!

Ignoring all the massively off topic stuff about imba planes(wtf guys?.)

Seems like NF is settling back into the monotonous flow of lousy players sitting still
while i slap them, or better still rushing and missing over 9000 times.

Still yet to see an outstanding player on Nebraska server. A few who are better than
others but none I see and go 'ohhhh shiiiii.....'

Apart from sindybaby. He turns the waters into a mire of flame and whine.

So here's what I'm getting from this thread.

Pissing into the wind contest between AZ + MO means you both lose.
Tier 5 scouts are IMBA.
???
Tier 5 scouts are still IMBA

Wow...

CAN ANYONE SAY E-PEEN FEST!!!!! I told you people this thread needed locked....
Remember guys, it is hard to defeat stupid people in large groups.

PLEASE BE CLEAR, I AM NOT POINTING ANY FINGERS HERE. AZ AND MO BOTH HAVE
THEIR FAIR SHARE OF GOOD PLAYERS!!!

And I think we can all agree on the fact that both have more than their fair share of
bad players... Can we just end it here? Please. This isnt going to get any easier with
both sides trying to be top dog. The AZ and MO rivalry should stop here. It is
pointless to carry on this fact. This is the Nebraska server. As such all petty
differences should be set aside.

We all have one thing in common now, we play and love a game that will probably
just continue to stagnate and die.

Attack a T5 scout head on with fighters and it dies. Using multiple waves makes it
easier... it's not impossible just hard.

T5's change the gamestyle slightly in that yes sight is more constant (especially in
regards to plane fuel), AA ships play more of a crucial role in picking them off and
making sure they are controlled well.

It's the same with the addition of SS3 subs, they can play a crucial roll in battle and it
forces fleets to adapt and counter with either their own subs or support ships with DC/HH.
Far more enjoyable than say 10 PCA's.

French CV's, in particular the DB's need to be balanced, but then so do the Mandels. By
far the most overpowered of all the PCA's, good range and main gun hitting power with
ultra long range AA not to mention speed.

I know personally I adjusted to the new fleet league rules very quickly and enjoy the
enchanced gameplay and tactics offered from older rules. But as you say, for the new*
nebby league things need to be discussed.

Total # of ships
Capital Ship limit
CV Limit
Plane limitations (T5 scouts? T4 fighters?)
Plane use rules (i.e. no border humping bombers)
Nation restrictions (ie MN cv's?)
Sub tier limit & numbers
PCA/TWL limits
Smoke/HeadgeHog rules
