How about the game is about 6 years old, not very big commercially, doesn't have the
advertising clout like EA, Square Enix and microsoft, has a playerbase that is moving onto
bigger and better things and to top it off brought in hackshield at the worst possible time
that may have wiped out a 1/4 of the already dwindling playbase.

The server merge that really doesn't appear to have had an effect on the game I was hoping
it would. yeah games start a bit quicker but nowhere near back like they were in 05/06.

Basically its a little too late to advertise this game as the next big thing its had its day and
gone its just a matter if time now 1/2 years if we are lucky that the game with be gone

thats a shame.. they should spam email accounts of everyone for every single event
that happens.. nudge them a little.. it's a shame to see all the folks who have left
through the years for various reasons and most of those have been addressed (cv crew
death, server merge-FINALLY and much much more)


now just need to do something about hackshield to get those lost customers back. Use
a US based hack prevention program that has some real clout and you might see better
results.

In PC Gamer, a few years ago I saw an add.

they did back in 05 on subsim and just hopped on again to look at something and
about a 1/4th of the way down they had a little blurb about it.

They do advertise on some game websites I think. Also, in 2006 I remember seeing NF
on a CD in a game magazine I bought.

They also do mass email newsletters periodically, but they are nothing different to that
of what they put up in the newsletters on the home page.

However, I don't think they actually do advertise that much... and it probably isn't that
effective since the reason why people play this game is not used in those ads IIRC.
