Starluck
Greetings,

According to the rules, as long as your activly moving around the map and
attacking ships or planes then your not leeching... This rule is problematic:

This is the example that effects me the most, others might have other examples of
leeching that fits the loop holes allowed by the current rule....

I am deep into enemey territory without a single friendly ship anywhere near in my
submarine and I start to sink and soften up the enemey lines.... At some point I
start to run low on air, and im consantly watching for targets of opportunity where I
might critically injure the ship and then surface beside it, "Humping the ship" for free
air while the enemy is forced to choose between a TK or allowing an enemy sub load
up on air....

Its at this point that a freindly battleship from max range finishes off my target and
more then not Injures me in the process.... Now Ive lost my kill, lost my chance to
gain air, and Ive been injured by freindly fire, and I am now a sitting duck for all the
enemy ships with their guns trained on me waiting for the right momement to pick
me off....

I might even spam a macro asking teammates to hold their fire on my helpless
target that is zero threat to anyone....

LEECHING, LEECHING, LEECHING....... Screen Shots to Follow

One exception to this scenerio would be if the target ship is a threat such as CV and
it has launched planes... any other ship would be literally helpless.. and a true
leeching shot...

Go deeper, hit harder, and finish quicker. Problem solved.

(that's what she said)

If the goal of the game is to win battles, then the quickest way to do so is to sink any
enemy in range. If that means not waiting for you to reload torps and position yourself
for a kill, then so be it. It isn't leeching.

*Getting players to discuss it is a great start... This greed, freindly fire, team killing,
kill stealing.. hopefully all these topics will be addressed with a programming
solution*

Just. . . Wow. . .

for me, a leaching bb or other ship is like moving around (or not moving at all) and
without shooting, launching, bombing, scouting or gave any advantage to your team until 5
mins premium is over and u go sacrifice urself for nothing. i see some player doing that,
the same player repeated the same act, and i knoe their name...

tking, ksing, & etc... is part of the game due to so many reasons such as greed, not so
observant, careless, reducing enemy threats or even game bug itself...

to me... i don;t mind being TKed as long as killing me gave advantage to my team... even
though the advantage is so minimal like 0.001%... cuz in NF even small matters could
change the tide of battle...

i've seen ss driver play like u before, i never TKed them, sumone else did, but i don't
feel guilty for my teammates TKing each other cuz sumtimes even an experiance ss driver
could fail (and i've seen it too)... to minimize that failure... any threat (strong or
weak) must be eliminated...

and i agree, not allowing other members killing ur target that u've crippled is also a
kind of greed too. this is a teamwork based game and not a street fighter 1 vs 1 battle
where no one can steal ur target...

sorry in advance if my comment hurt u or u disagree with them. they're just my opinion of
the matter itself...

Actually...if we compare Starluck's "leeching" definition, and what he does, i.e. waiting
for air and stopping anyone else getting xp because they can't get the timely kill (which
let's be honest is greed on your part too so don't say people have no right to shoot) as
well as waiting for planes so you can shoot them...as far as i'm concerned, what you do is
significantly worse and more like leeching...just think about it...especially the waiting
on top of enemies whilst you can't kill them and so stopping (in his idealogy) your team
from making a kill for your own gain...

I don't think letting the enemy CV launch their planes is a good idea... they'll just
shoot down friendly planes that you PURPOSELY allowed to happen... all because
you thought you'd get some easy plane kills on their way back... which means you
are going to purposely wait 2 minutes for their return... which by then either you
have sunk the cv or it dies to a TK trying to hit you because people disrespect SS so
much that they don't care about experience... I also like to highly piss-off a certain
FireZ by putting 3 dots at the end of almost every damn thought....

Your arguement is like the other arguement where you said having an FF escort
while playing your SS is a good tactic lmao.

I may just have to take out the ASW cred HH emerald again, god knows how many
people I've made rage with that.

Even though it's a heated discussion, it has been civilized so far.

Don't start with the personal attack posts or they will be hidden.
