  • *Important Update for all Fleet/Squads*

Dear fans of NavyField,

It has now been one week since the servers were merged. Thankfully, there were
not any critical issues with merge itself except for issues primarily affecting fleet and
squadron data. As many of you know, we have been trying to handle these issues
manually in order to minimize your inconvenience. However, the problem has turned
out to be much more complicated than originally analyzed. On account of this, we
have decided to make a simple (although drastic) change which will provide the best
long term result. In short, we will completely clear all Fleet/Squad data from servers.
All Fleets and Squadrons will need to reform.

I know that this will not seem like the best solution as many players may already be
ok, but it is the best way to completely resolve all NF Fleet and Squad issues. It
takes some time to reform a fleet, but there will not be any further hassles once
completed. Plus, it will provide ample opportunity to form a better fleet. For example,
some fleets really want to have a separate fleet master account so in the future if a
fleet master resigns from their position, then he can just hand over the master
account. If you want to do this, then this is a good time to form a fleet. I know this
problem does not apply to all fleets, but if left unchanged it could result in issues that
may affect your fleet later on. I am really sorry about this great inconvenience and
appreciate your support on this decision.

The provisions for clearing the Fleet/Squad data will be as follows:

1. All fleet/squad data will be removed.

2. 15 million credits + 100k points + the credits in the Fleet bank will go to the Fleet
leader's account.*edit* The current (post merge) data will be used as basis for the
compensation.

3. We do not mind previous fleets reforming their fleet with a 'new' name. However if
we see players attempting to use names which were already pre-established in
order to cause trouble, we will suspend their accounts. We are trying to go through
this with the least amount of crisis and issues, so please be respectful.

4. All fleet penalties will be cleared.

5. This is scheduled to take place tonight (Wednesday, February 23rd) during the
scheduled maintenance.

expert packs and a full elite crew for BB ships..for the fleetmasters!"

You should write a support ticket regarding this (the fact that the persons who now have
the work of SDE to do, are the ones that are the least compensated by this event), you
would laugh about the answer even more.

I saw the number of players declined during the last year.
In the server YAMATO It was rare to see play blitz and in Iowa also was unusual if you
were not playing at peak time.

So, my conclusion is, we have to fix some minimun problems but Im happy to see that many
players, all together, are playing differents types of rooms.

A little problem so we can all play as it should.

incompetency bunch of noobs in that company. hard to believe that they earn money
for the crap what they do!

working with motto: i cant fix it, so i kill it!

the work is now on the fleetmasters and not any longer on GMs, SDE or yuno.
so we need weeks to get all players back.

btw...100k points? for what? it must be 100mil..+100mil credits + 10 vets packs 10
expert packs and a full elite crew for BB ships..for the fleetmasters!

u guys have NO CLUE what u are doing there! go home and play barbie, noobs!

if you knew about this problem when it happend you shouldve fixed it/stopped
creation of fleets why did you let us all make fleets
you guys shouldve simply said hey theres a prob with some fleets dont waste ur
time remaking the fleet becuase we'll have to still fix everything and i realise u guys
tryed the simpler fix 1 at a time but i mean has that ever worked?? no...instead u
let everyone make squads/fleets and now got to round everyone up again which is
fairly simple yes...but a headache none the less when you want to play the game
not fleet member round up

I give up. We had already been recruiting into our fleet after merge. What's next?
Now we lose them.

I love this solution. First clear fleets with merge, the great fleet of game for me...
imposible get all players now.... Late of merge we start other new fleet, with people
that was log on between week. And other partch clear new fleet, tons credits to the
crap....

@ Alanvan, maybe you missed a KEY part of what I said. A squad that is NOT part of a fleet
gets NOTHING I guess? Meaning, I have a clan, it is not part of a fleet. Don;t want to be
part of a fleet. I am out 200k due to the disbanding of all fleets/squads. Do I get my
credits back??
