hipper seem weaker in blitz, is this true? because i saw more hipper sunk than
deutchland

The 5.9's (otherwise known as trips) are better off for light cruisers since CLs are
meant to intercept DDs and cna blockshot although the 5.9's put you in range of the
enemy as well.

The 6's or better yet 8's are ideal for ranged combat and what should every big ships
like CA be outfitted for as this game play style will prepare for the bigger boats - the
battleships. DDs are notorious for rushing and 11's suffer a delayed reload but
benefit at excellent range and being KM, you are the king of range. Sadly, unless the
Blitz rooms are played on bigger maps, you won't get to exercise this opportunity a
lot.

This means you have to have good gunners that don't suck on spread (The D-land is
even more fussy required to have BVE excellent gunners with at least 100 VETS on
each) and make your shots count. Ironically KM is known to be a cookie cutter build
so if you ahve trouble getting the hipper and can't even afford the guns yet, STOP!

I recommend you probably should either do the following:

1. Continue your other line and get IJN's Oyodo or Hosho since it seems you have a
CV line for this nation. The credits they earn from these ships are very high, double
the event and you could earn even enough to skip Hipper and go straight for the PE
remodel but then you need to work on the KM BO also.

2. Alternatively, use the CL Emden and it's AA. If you haven't got those AA gunners
now, now is a very good time to do it since the event's double credits and GM
priviledge will earn you $$$ in no time, plus Emden is a CL so FREE REPAIRS! It takes
some skill but I highly recommend it since would benefit you in the long run. Read the
AA guides.

Emden's KM AA will also provide you some experts so that's big benefit for your KM
gunners. Hell, this nation's notorious for making expert'ed crews; you can even
throw in your future CV crew of pilots into this thing. What's more it doesn't matter
what ship line your KM BO is one since this is an event CL.

thanks people, im goin for admiral hipper, so expensive that i have to forget my
honsho. one more thing, my hipper is unarm since i cant afford the gun yet, i saw
some pople mount triple 5.9 (150mm) but they get eat by northamptom and county,
some mount either 6.76 or 8 (i cant differentiate these guns) and manage to score a
few hits but they seem to refuse to fight DD or FF, is it strategic reason?

The ship doesn't get sunk, the player does. It's really difficult to compare these
things ~ depends on the person playing and opponent as well as the situation..
It's like asking which ship/nation is best...

If your having trouble with rushers put the 5.9'' trips on the the thing...its not really the KM way but it it
works

If you play Hipper/Prinz properly (not possible in hobbit map) you shouldnt even take
damage from anything besides maybe other KM CAs, BBs, and CVs.

I think it's more of the matter of maps. If in a hobbit war, where gritty CQC/
torpwhoring is more favored, the hipper (as well as a majority of KM ships, save the
Z99) will suffer from the lack of elbow room.

On better open space, the hipper can compete well enough in the right hands but don't
worry if it sucks now; once you get to Prinz Eugen, consider taking on the BB1's and
you will start to feel what the KM has best to offer.

My latest KM battle using PE involved a 1 vs 1 stand alone in Blitz against a Baltimore.

Geez, tough one to answer.

It's the playing, really.
Though Hipper is a good ship when properly set up and driven, it is weaker
than Deutschland. In blitz, hipper can mount the triple 152mm (5.9 in) for a
defensive stance or the dual 203mm (8 in) for a more offensive one; this based
solely on rate of fire, since the former mount can repel blitz rushers more easily.

Deutschland can ONLY mount the 281mm (11 in) triples, with its slow rate of fire
and awful spread at blitz level, it is a fairly easy prey of a well driven rusher. It's
imperative one keep a safe distance; after all you will have a tremendous range
advantage.

The rest is up to you. If given a choice, Deutsch is mine.
