Make them fire 1 DC at a time at an increased rate of fire.
Decrease the blast radius to something less silly.
Allow Fast/Slow switch to change the timer between 5s and 7s.
Narrow/Wide would still have no effect.
Force DCs to deploy from the aft of a ship regardless of T slot position.

This basically has been suggested many times.... and besides Depths are perfectly
fine how they are....

In fact, most subs can take more than 6 depths. or 2 sevos of 2-3 launchers..

They already fire fast enough too....

This is where I think NF should develop ASW specific ships. Sonarman required.
Unique ASDIC equipment and weapons. From FF to CL. These will be necessary to
counter any SS-5 or Premium SS in the future.

Depth Charges can be improved and should be the #1 weapon against SS. Not
Hedgehogs.

I agree with the timer settings in fast/slow toggle, add maybe a second or two.

But also feel that Wide/Narrow also should affect the distribution of DCs. (Roll off or
10M launch).

The option (F4) Gradual or Simultaneous allows for the ASW personal flexibility in
dropping when and where.

Your last suggestion deletes the all-time bad boy ASW, "Neutral FF-Y". no way dude.

1
