I'm hearing from people that Nebby/Amagi damage is reduced at Max. I will test this
myself, but that shouldn't happen.

Looking at all the BB6 armour weights/available displacement IS on the cards anyway (for
ONF at least, I can't say about the Official test team), but, at least in Amagi's case, QV
shouldn't bounce it. Nebraska is another story.

I'm just gonna preempt the next reply by saying..

"Neat, but a BB driver shouldn't be getting bombed if they know how to dodge DBs, so
there no reason to AW better to SW blah blah blah so on and so forth"

More seriously, very nice setup Hyz this is possibly one of the most unique/best AW QV
setup. AW ships have their place in NF just like other setups do. Or maybe everybody
should just play Kaiser because everybody knows a Kaiser should defeat every other
ship before they can get into range so it is silly to play any other ship..

ops i just used a wrong account to replay

PS, armour is great aganist dbs. a US DBW cv5/pcv cant do dmg fast enough to beat
the qv's repair rate. even when the CV double launch 2 waves of bomber, and it can
only take out qv's sd. only MN dbs do some dmg, and even so, it takes 20 mn dbs
just to get 12' qv to yellow dp.

hmmm here's what i wanna say:

12' deck qv is a GB farmar and i dont think there's any argument for that. it might
not be very good for bb6 line battles in HA, however it still has it's use. beside, i
grab a nebby/kaiser myself for bb6 battles.

12' bounce SY at 44 degree, but i didnt run a test with L2 yet since in the battle
there's yet a L2 can do dmg with HE even in max range. many time i just fictory
rushed some not-so-good L2 driver. i dont think L2's shell has better aomour
penatration than SY's shell at 44 degree.

12' does do better than normal aw qv with 10.6' or 11' with lighter crew in many
situations. there r many ships would like to rush bb6 in gb and oftenly the qv is
getting rushed by mutiple bbs at same time. 12' can even ignor some low caliber
gun's ap or the ap does almost to nothing dmg.

12' doesnt not bounce amagi/nebby shell at max range for sure. however the nebby
dmg has significant decreased and it start to bounce or do around 5k dmg per savo
at 37-35 degrees, at this range is when qv getting in his range when rushing.

there are never a perfect battle when a ship is outranged by some other ship and
can never get into his own range, if that always happen then kaiser is too OP. so
there r always bb5s get into their range when facing a bb6. and when the bb5s can
fire at the qv, the armour gives more chance to survive even when bb5's r using ap.
qv can just simple counter a little and let the ap do less dmg. ap starts to do a lot
less dmg due to lower angle is very significant on a 12'qv.

I just tested with 12,2" L2 deck, and it bounce l2 shells at max.
SDE constantly ninja patch stuff.
I won't be surprised if that is the case.

i have 2 AA gunners with no crew on them and a scout without crew just for when i
want to AW i also have a full regular 7/3 or a 8/2 crew

with the gimped crew i get 11.5 and can bounce monty and L2 shells at pretty much
max range

Hmmmm... different that L2 armour then. Unless that got changed somehow too.

Although, it is still not a HUGE issue, they are a tier below, and its not hard to
change to AP (unless it affects the BB6 balance).

Thanks for the video... Personally I still say that QV crew is gimped too much and
cost/benefit wise is insanely rare.

I'll have to retest that myself, because the last time I tested (when the L2 could
put on 13" of deck and bounce Montana shells with L1 guns on), it didn't bounce
L2 shells...

Briggerz used to run a similar setup, but with just gimped repair guys; A cheaper
way of getting a similar setup.
