Unless AAW stat is turned on, its a waste of time to roll for a high AAW stat (feel free
to correct me if I'm wrong Phat) Rld will be the most important. Personally for a tight
spread AA, USN is a good choice. Slightly slower reload than KM but most ships are set up
for a tight spread and the punch they pack is rather nice. Higher GA and shorter range are
a trade off.

Personally I go for similar with Phat, as I prefer a tighter grouping, but again thats my
preference. Particularly on a BB or a nation whose AA goes to 80+ degrees. That tight
block AA is great for catching last min bombers.

Ignore AAW base since it doesn't work.
Even if it did, why would you be relying on AAW when you should be doing the
shooting yourself.

Make sailors for AA purposes with good reload and AAW bases and class them ASAP, since KM
AA gunners get bonuses on reload skill.

ACC for an AA gunner is debatable subject, more of a question of how much you want
ACC in your gunner.

On one hand, having low accuracy (shotgun spread) means you get to hit plane
formations that tend to fan out, like fighters.

On the other, high accuracy like phat's preference, is good for sniping and would be
more ideal to intercept tight plane formations, like bombers.

Personally one extreme of the other isn't good, and it comes down to other factors like
the gun, FCS and T-slot layout itself. KM is very average good in all these aspects, if you
like your shots to fan out more, try using a finder FCS, if not, keep manual FCS. (Auto is
obviously useless.)

Everyone got his/her own good concept.

Good for me = blockshot and fast reload AA, mainly I love sniping.

Only 1 change to the above poster, and 1 addition. AAW stat is a busted stat. For AA
gunners focus solely on Rld stat (and if you care about Acc, you can find one with good
Acc as well).

Theres 3 options for AA guns, really depending on what ship you are on. 3.46 are the
fastest rld, and light weight, good shell space fit on anything really. KM40s are for H44
and up (can do a split load on the H39 I never preferred the setup tho). The third is the
4.1s. Same rld as the KM40s, hit a bit harder than the 3.46s, and are as light as the
3.46s (meaning more shell space).

You can class KM AA on time.

KM is the only nation that really uses "AA gunners."

If your just starting and your wanting to get good sailors to AA with you need to roll 2
+11/12 AAW stat sailors. Once you have your sailors it's just like any other way to
improve to get a good crew; Level,Get Experts, Get Vets, Boost, Or buy Elites.

Now if your new to the game, you may be wanting to know which ships are best for AA in KM
nation, and what guns to use.

The most popular would be the KM L30 3.46 SK/32 or known as KM 32's. Which you get when
your AA gunners reach level 30. Most people pick this gun, as it has a much faster reload
rate than the others.
Golden Angle(36)
Mid Angle(25)
Low Angle(15)




The 2nd most popular are the KM 40 at level 42. These guns are stronger than the one
above, but has a much longer reload time.

This ships to use when or if your at the level are the Edmen and the moltke.

AA for km is a great way to earn easy money and experts for your crew. I use it, and also
have prem. I never have to buy Experts if I just run my edmen and get 10-30 Experts a
game.(I have level 114 AA gunners and practiced.)
