The best SS nation is KM by far. Why? Proximity torpedo! NOTHING infuriates the BB
class like an exploding torpedo that just missed. To counter your threat fleet leaders
will demand that their minions play smaller ships to eliminate the SS threat to insure
that their egos are not bruised because they can not stuff enough repairers in the T slots
for a balanced defence against SS and BB because they love to deckwhore can at the
same time cry that SS is OP because they are lean on bulkhead. Plus, carry some
superlight gunners and surface right next to your victim and rip them in half with your
deck guns. Then sit back and laff as the tears flow freely. They will tell you that you get
an OP SS at level 74 but you will be ineffective until your sailors reach level 110 or
higher. There is more that you can do but I will not give up what I had to learn on my
own and consider it to be TOP SECRET. Good luck and good hunting.

If you want to 1 shot 80% ships on the map, or 2 shot 100% ships on the map, go
Japan.

If you want to have magical torpedoes that never dud, and require 0 skill, go german.

not every one has farmed engys kid so type less ijn are slow...

seriously TheJerseyMOB the statement that IJN subs are slow is completely wrong.

They are as fast as KM if you have high level engineers.

ijn are slow but hit hard

km have auto torping ( proxy torps ) so great vs ff's, dd,s and other subs

Mn small hard to hit and fire 6 torps 2nd most to ijns 8 torp ss4

uk and us i dont even care they go under water and fire torps thats about it


i say go MN and km ( i have ss4 mn and almost ss4 km ) trust me i own
with both =]

IJN subs are best for shooting BB sized targets

KM subs are best for hunting ASW and other subs. The KM SS4 is also good to machine-gun ships with it's rapid fire
HE pompoms.

US SS are the worst subs, uk is a little better, and mn are a little better than uk.

there isnt best sub, who have time using sub know that the secret for make ur sub OP is
take advantage of the sailors stats, for ex, u can make a KM SUB lvl 90 using 2 gunners in
the guns slots and without the need of skeletonized ur BO, u can have 900 SD, repairing
100+dp/s and 40knt OH , 0.2 belt 7 bulge, all depend of how u class ur sailors since torps
stats and acc/rld have a cap

MN: similiar to IJN but with a better SS1 but 1 less support
IJN: high damage torps good for killing ships
KM: aiming is not required, we could use less of these
USN: meh, theyre ok but they still suck overall
UK: is teh suxs
