OK the downloader works I just tested it.

have you tried to save the D/L file to a new location and after you unistall the game
go back and delete the left over files and folder.
then reboot
the once you are sure nothing is left the install

If this fails then something is blocking the installer from your side

Every since the messed up update I recieved I cannot download the game or
patches to fix problems. The update gave me a bunch of error codes and asked me if
i wanted to download patches to fix it. I clicked yes and poof. Nothing but problems
since. I can't even download. Once download completes it tells me it must have
been deleted, then nothing. Was I fed a bug in the update?

Can you tell me exactly what the problem is, I looked at your past tickets, but am
unclear as to the issue
