Well, I bet a lot of you knew this was coming, I leaving NF, for at least a couple
months.
This doesnt mean you can scavange my crews or delete my account.
It just means, I won't be on the fourms, game, or spriting.
Im deeply sorry for those of you that were waiting for the MN CV Pack or the Fixed BB
pack, dont expect a fix for a couple of months. :(

Ohh yea, I forgot to tell you why.
My computer died, every single sprite, game, pic, mp3, mod and my ediotion of
photoshop are all gone.
This sets the MN BB/CV pack progress down to -1% :(
Im really sorry guys, but at my age I dont have nearly enough money for a new pc,
my old one was a gift in 2005. It was worth about $2,000.....
As I am only 13 (Yes TNF my mother made my nf account under her e-mail)
I cant get a new one, even a CRAPPY new one....sorry guys....I might see you again
in a few months.

If you want the first release of the mn cv pack, go to NGP someone posted a link to a
version of my dixmunde with its transparancy fixed.

I really didn't think that memory affected the video card as much as the gpu itself
really...

Radeon HD 5870 runs Crysis 1 at 40 fps at very high with x4 aa, and Crysis 2 at
70~80 fps

Correct. An older 1gb card (4670 family from ATI) may struggle with Crysis 1 or 2. It's
a matter of the technology used in the family of cards. One of the newer 6970s or
6990s would have absolutely no trouble.

the only difference between 1gb and 2 gb graphics cards is that the 2 gb is better for larger
resolutions and multiple screens.

cisco , dont throw away anything from your old computer , just get the new processor and plug it in ,
it should be fine

q Alex:

Yeah I saw a vid on tube where they compare the engines. Crysis 1 with mid-range settings
looks actually better (and has a more realistic physics engine!) than Crysis 2 on PS3 /
X-Box ^^

I want to get atleast a 2005 pc, that way i can have a lil more than 2 gigs o ram and
have a 1 gb gpu = I CAN FINELY PLAY CRYSIS!!!!!!!

You'll need a lot more than this. Crysis pretty much requires at minimum a Dual Core
Processor, although it's recommended you run it with a Quad Core with min 2.0ghz.
It's possible to run Crysis in a single core, but your processor speed needs to be
somewhere in the 4.2-4.3ghz range. 2gbs of ram simply won't cut it. The game is
designed for multiple cores and requires more than 2gb to run smoothly. You can get
by on the 1GB video card, but it depends on the model. Crysis 1 is actually more
demanding than Crysis 2, as Crysis 2 has plenty of scalebacks so that the game was
able to be run on consoles.

cisco, to run crysis in a decent solution and with halfway decent settings, you need a
pretty good comp already...

Hows $200 (auction, anyone)? I NEED a new computer. Dual core 2.53 isn't enough to
play games anymore.

Hey Cisco, since you won't be using it for anything, can I have your comput....Oh
wait......
