All I did was follow the install instructions. After a NF patch in late 2009 there was a
crash issue with NF fixer and NF with the sounds.dll file. The fix was posted in the
forums (dont remember the thread) and since then there has been no NF/NF Fixer
crash and there were no changes needed when hackshield rolled out. I even use NF
Fixer on the Test Server and it had hackshield loaded before it rolled out in regular
game.

So it just closes it if you have it in the NavyFIELD folder?

Hackshield and NF Fixer - Hackshield does not shut down NF with NF Fixer running. I
have been using NF Fixer for almost 2 years and have no issues with it or running it
with Hackshield. There is no need to "hack around" anything.

^^ wut? i can use it fine, in another folder. It's just the ctrl+end that doesn't work
anymore.

Hackshield blocks the use of NF Fixer.
NF will keep terminating on startup until you uninstall it.

Unless you know how to crack hackshield and bypass it, which a few already have done
and ARE using NF-Fixer -_-

Get NF-fixer and then you can fire and move your guns and ship all at the same time.
These other ppl have no clue on how to aa, which is very obvious from the mis information
they are giving you.

Hold your fire button, but don't move the guns.

The problem is when your selector (F4) is on Gradual and you hold the space bar, it
will overcycle the guns. The guns will continue to fire after you stop pressing space
bar.

You need to select Simultaneous.

Different reload rates on your gunners will cause disruptions for gradual and max
velocity.

Put your gunners on Simultaneous for AA.

Download NF fixer 3-21a turn on "Battle mode" and use simultaneous fire while
holding down spacebar. Yes you will be able to turn guns while still shooting.

The only way to continiously fire AA is to:

#1 Set your elevation to max altitude at max distance " This means you will slowly
raise elevation as the planes get nearer to your ship "

#2 Press and Hold Down on Space Bar

#3 DO NOTHING ELSE BUT CHANGE SHIP DIRECTION USING MOUSE WHILE HOLDING
DOWN ON SPACE BAR - dont press any other buttons
