idk, i didnt think about restarting my cp to fix my problem, for some reason i have to
download a 98file things that takes forever and it doesnt work, and my other cp doesnt
need it so has to be a game problem, anyone have an answer for it?

is what?sleeping tech ready to deny any time NF is bag of crush,bugs,ruined all nerve.
Whatever you do NF is been crushed,try some defrag,check error,use some program like
cclener,after to do all NF still is pissed of all a little bit few time.

@ ljsever if tech support did there job properly or the uninstall was a full install he
not have this problem would he now.

I crash more times than other.. some days I go with no problems.. then the next day
I cant play for over an hour while I try to get the game to boot. I do cntrl alt delete
to make sure hackshield or nf isnt running, and try to boot the game 10 times before
I do a restart.. thats right.. 10 times.. after I restart, i may have to try the game a
few times before I can actually play as well.


least I'm not the only one :D makes me feel a little better :)


and luckily my system boots fast cause I have the OS on a solid state drive :D

To anyone having this problem, next time try logging off then logging back into windows.
Works for me. Much faster than restart (Especially when you have FID for login :) )

I've been seeing this same issue only within the last week. Never had this happen to me
before until hk707 temp kicked me from the server for my Kita's name last week :-/. Ever
since then, 1 out of every 3 boots NF will crash to where I have to restart my computer to
get it to work again. The other times it crashes, I just have to mouse over the HackShield
icon to make it disappear before starting NF again.

I'd have to associate crashes with memory leaks ( it either crashes or you can't access
any other application when you tab out ), I normally access the taskmanager ( right click
the taskbar and click it on the sub menu that pops up ) and make sure NF is not running
under "Process" even though it is no longer in the active "Applications" tab. you should
then be able to start NF again, if it CTDs ( Crash To Desktop ) try a few more times,
before resulting in a restart ( most of the time NF works after 2-3 CTDs after a crash ).
NF should now use up approx. 600mBs of RAM up to 900 MBs if it's sitting there for a while.

Go to your task manager and end the NF process. This thread is soo 4 years ago.

I have no lag and rarly crash, but I cant access programs like IE I click and nothing
happens, only when NF has been running for a hr or so, and I have to restart and
do it all over again
