Skip the dido? No way. The dido is an in incredible ship that should never be skipped. Reasonable hitbox size, good
close range guns, good range for a cl and it drives well whether it is Armor whored or speed whored. There is no
reason to skip such an awesome ship! And the sirius is even sicker, 5 turrets and tight spread! Comparable to the
emerald when speed whored and much better than the Emmy when armor whored. Don't skip the dido or sirius! Play
them to their full potential!

Emerald isnt a CL1.... -.-', and i guess u are talking about a fast grinding for any new
player, being like that i have to agree to what u said. But being a decent player who
knows about pros and contras u should do more variations. (Ex: I really love an AW sirius
on hobbit war enviorement, there is really few cas who actually know how to play). When i
grind uk i usually play with Q class until sirius level.

@ whukid how is Dido the best CL1 in game?
Emerald is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.
Almost all CL1s are better than dido,
mostly because of guns. I agree on
the Sirius, it is a great ship! The only
problem i have with it is gun space.

Q all the way to Emerald, even though the L is great.

The reason should be obvious.

L class can sometimes be fun :), in dd wars,

lots of armor, the trip 4" with hhe, and rush avoiding torps, merely most of the dd will
fire your L class just tickle you, it can bounce cl guns sometimes ^^

Where did you get your information from, and why would you say something like this? If
you're going to make statements like the original post, you need to have stuff to back it
up. Secondly, RN has some of the best DD's in game, if not THE best overall.

The Tribals are very nice to play; very manuverable, nice gunspace, ect.

The Dido and Sirius are easily the best CL1's in the game. They are small, have great
gunspace, and have an awesome AA capability. If you want a UK CV, its best to grab
one of these babies and AA your way up the ladder.

You should always play every ship you get the chance to, because it prepares you for
the next one in line. Honestly, you'll be through all of the DD's in a day or so, and
therefore really arent saving any time or effort by skipping over them

I have found that the L class is the fastest RN DD in game.
It can top 50n if outfitted correctly.

I found that the UK DDs were great for speed in maneuvering around. it helps to
keep
you alive early on, short of running into some turd doing a cheap torp spread tactic
right in close where you can't possibly hope to get out of the way (and that's
assuming
it's an enemy and not one of your own team mates).

the Dido is ok, although you really get some good punch with the Sirius. avoid the
ECL,
it's got 7 R guns = good. but their aiming goes all screwy on you, which is bad if
you've
got 5 guns on target, and 2 off shooting behind you at you own team (you lose exp
for
shooting your own ships).

beyond that, if you go Sub, CV, or whichever BB route, read through the guides and
see
what the pros & cons are for each.

you'll also find a guide in the UK section of the forums for the DDs-CAs and others.

ammendment:

don't get into a routine of doing the same thing over and over and over again.
predictability, gets you killed. don't always go north, don't always go south, don't
always just charge out with torps. the more you play, the more some people get a
handle on what you like to do and if they know you're going to be there and you're
someone who can do some damage, they'll be looking for you.

It's lost because he's making it up as he goes along with no real experience in any of
the ships he's writing about. Play several hundred games in each ship with different
configurations and situation then report back.
