Sorry, I forgot to differentiate what I meant. I was assuming you were putting the same
information in the Squad Name and Squad Initials boxes. V2C is correct that it will
display what is put into the Squad Initials box. So if you want your Squad Name to appear,
put it into the Squad Initials box as well.

It's been over 4 years since I have created a Squad, so please excuse my mistake X-S

Its the initials that shows up. My squad name is "Spaceballs!" but next to my shipname it
says "Balls!"

Above your user name (left of your ship name), you will have the full name of your
Squadron in a tan-colored tag. If you are referring to the NF image to the left of your
user name, then the only way to change that image is if you form a Fleet after acquiring
the proper amount of players to do so.
