I had this problem with an Emerald escort.
Dismissed then reformed it as escort, no change.
Sold it then re-bought & formed, no change.
Even sent in a support ticket, they only suggested what I had already tried.

So I gave up on escorts for a while.

Then after I started a KM crew, I setup an Emden escort just to see if it would work,
and hey presto it worked.
Then went back and tried my Emerald, it worked too.

So I'm not sure if it was just a time issue, if the mods actually did something, or my
original Emerald was bugged.
Occasionally when my escorts have failed to reload, they are now auto dismissed
and appear back in the shipyard, and I have to manally reload and re-form them
(creds again), but I suppose this is better than escorts not reloading at all.

This was just my experience, sorry I couldn't suggest a quick fix.

After my own extensive use the only solution I find works is to keep the escort window
fully open during leaving port. Minimizing the escort window tends to bug it out after so
many games or lag you out. Disconnecting or crashing will cause it to bug out so
repairing no longer works. You will then have to dismiss and reset your escort.

I had this problem for a long time with my FF escorts. I never dismissed them or anything,
just stopped using them for escorts. Some time later I used them again and it stopped. Its
just another retarded NF bug.

I have done what jtk1701 suggested, and everything is just the same, i even trained
another BO and bought a new ship especially for escort, still useless.

and MOD, i have searched a few articles on google and seems this escort reload problem has
been appeared for a period of time, would you like to send my (our) problem to the tech.
team again ?

P. S. : i have tried any combination of "reload" button in escort menu, still nothing
happen....

Are you opening the escort menu and clicking reload?

Also i believe there was a slight bug after the server merge in which you had to reset
your escorts for them to reload properly, thats probably what happened.
