  • CV's are sensitive

We all know subs are fragile but few know that CV's are sensitive. CV abuse in
GB's hurts the sensitive CV's.
Luckily CV's meet at encounter groups called: "CV wars". There they are safe from
stinging insults and can enjoy a supportive enviornment.
Shine on you beacons of light.

Tastefull pics welcome.

the only reason people play fighter whore cv's is specifically to destroy everyother
airdraft in the sky.. they know they are going to rule the sky.. this is true for the lvl
100+ cv players.. at lvl112 fighters all pilots are 10/12/10 and 10/12/11 and i have
one 11/10/11.. all my pilots are fully boosted and vetted. im talking 130 vettes each and
full experts, cost me an absolute arm and a leg to do that to 8 fp 3 tb and 4 db... i also
run a an elite engie and elite rep full bve too on my cv.. its really not a cheap game to
play..

the results are favourable. but not conclusive, i still get owned by players with elites
of the same level or by other nation cv's of the same level.. anything lower than me is
pretty much toast however.

i think what im trying to say is cv's are unfair in every aspect, their is no balance with
them its based purely of having +12 or elite fighters that have been boosted and vetted to
death so much so that you cannot do any more with them..

cv's need completely reworking so its an even playing field for all cv pilots with just
qauntity of planes as the decideing factor..

i feel really really really sorry for the cv4 and below players in gb.. they dont stand a
chance against high level cv5 cv6 and pcv players. they may get lucky and get the odd
wave of bombers through.

i know for a fact i can take a full wave of db's and be able to rep up intime to take
another ful wave.. from any cv4 and below hell i can take a full wave from a cv6..

im running full deck armour uk cv and 900 sd with a lvl 120 full bve repair and lvl 90
elite bve engie. and my lvl 98 seaman. and 2 new lvl 75 +12 engies boosted andvetted i
stick them in the gun slots for those who are wandering how i get so many crews on my cv
lol... i know it doesnt give full results but the little it does give helps alot. it
certainly puts my sd through the roof. and sd is like having two lives.

the above is a fw set up 6 fp and the rest supports.. if i go fw/tb ill use 6fp 1 seaman 2
tb and will stick my two highest level supports in my gun slots..to maintain the 900sd.

i feel the pain of the low level cv's and bb players need to learn when to take cover
rather than trying to face off in the dark and being owned by an enemy that can see.

retreat is a sound tactical strategy, and you last longer. some times cv players planes
get massacred by AA fire.. when this happens you bb players now have to wait for another
wave to load .. that can take as long as 40 seconds. plenty of time to get your selvs
killed while playing hero!!

and dont give me none of your age restricted comments such as "well if you lowered them
they wouldnt get shot down" cause that just shows how inexperienced you are in the game...
the people who play the good AA ships tend to be really good at playing AA and no matter
what altitude you put your planes out they still get massacered very quickly by the
dedicated AA players.

i have to take my hat off and give those guys kudos's for being that sharp with such
hellfire weaponry.. i know how to play a cv and im always altering my altitude of planes
up and down up and down to try and keep them alive longer over enemy lines. but they still
get cut to peices by those AA guys.. they are incredibly accurate.

if anything i would like to see the reload times on those AA guns recieve a conciderable
nerf.. not only is it not very realistic, it also causes a great deal of lag!!

Maybe if you guys just didn't spam your fighters into the waiting T4s than you might
actually be useful.

CVs get fully shared EXP. Play to win or don't play.

Normally i am a Battleship player and i get annoyed when my map is all black.
Now i am playing my Ark Royal, during the battle sometimes i feel like i am HOPELESS
when high lvl Cv players spam their fighters everywhere around.

So we should accept this, there are high lvl players in this game. Does Cv players expect
from low lvl bb players to take out Bb5, or Bb6? Ofcourse not, because it's not easy to
cope with high lvl battleships, it's not easy to cope with High lvl fighters.

Team players shouldn't blame each other, they should not discourage, irritate each other.

One more important thing, while there is vision if there is opportunuty to charge enemy
pls take advantage of it. Fighters and scouts can'T fly forever. Most of us are
backseating somwhere and thinking that we will have vision forever.

I have a UK CV and my BO is 116 now.

I have heard every imaginable complaint about CVs known to man.

Yesterday, I was in a room that just loaded 20/8.

Then came the complaint,

"Ban the Hosho (IJN CV1), He's only got scouts!"

Of course the host did not ban the Hosho and the game began.

What kind of game have we created where new players just getting their first CV
get treated to being banned because some player considers his ship too inferior to
the competition? Should BB1s be banned in GB2 because of their inferiority? Should
SS1s be banned because they are completely obsolete .

There are plenty of CVs sitting in harbors, rusting away, because their master is
busy playing with his battleship instead.

There is a negative quality to this game that evokes a nasty side of human
interaction.

BBs want CVs in gb2 games to sit there and hold their hands so that they can miss and
miss and miss the enemy, while getting blown to bits.

then they get mad when you get swamped by higher level fighters (or same level, but
with more vets per pilot). or if you dare to use locals (which are still somewhat effective
in short range conditions, especially when the alternative is getting your tier 2s shot
down by almost everything else up there). or if you actually manage to sink more BBs
with your bombers than they do.

sometimes you've just got to learn life's valuable lessons. go out and have fun. if
somebody's not liking how you play, just shrug your shoulders at them, and tell them
"don't worry about it" as the only response, and let them blow the gasket instead of
you.

Last few days I leveled my CV and can tell you. From +100 games only 1 time I saw it, but
in that battle one CV6 took one half of the map, bombed crap out of the BB there (with
help of enemy BB) then finished the rest of our fleet. I looked something like O_o after
that battle.

Actually also in one battle with smoke 1 SS did the same but only by kiling 3-4 BB and
then atacking the CV (wasnt waching the entire time what he do)

There was a time when CVs could turn the tide of a battle. Back when the BB players
actually knew their role in the battle and tried to fight to win. Back before the multiple
DBer nerfs that markedly diminished a CVs ability to attack.
Now, CVs have been reduced to a support ship because of the poor BB player base with
their inability to attack without over whelming support. It appears now that a SS 4 can
more influence the outcome of the battle than a CV 4.

It takes dedication to grind a cv in this kind of "I WANT ATTACK-BUT YOU SIT IN THE BACK"
environment, spending money vetting up what amounts to a very expensive set of crew that
BB drivers benefit from more than the CV operator, so yes playing CV isn't exactly a
casual affair, either dedicate your time and resources or ....... go play a sub.
