I understand the history of ending corruption by removing the expert gain from missions. However, this has created a new problem, the AA idiots. There are some great AA ships out there. I've seen some of them pick off a "bad guy" when he's dog fighting in an endless circle and not hit the "good guy". Its an impressive skill to have mastered. However, why is it that AA is the only way to gain experts fast? There is no shortage of AA ships, so I see no reason why AA needs to be encouraged. The expert situation should be changed so that all types of play are equally encouraged, not just one skill.
This has also created a problem for CVs. There is constantly a lack of them due to flames and stupid requests, but now it is further aggravated by loosing experts so that AA ships can gain them. AA gain for experts should be set back to normal, and instead Expert gain for premium should be tripled.
What will tripling expert gain for premium do? Well a number of things. First, it encourages people to support the game. If me saying that makes you mad, than sit back and think about it for a minute. Yuno doesn't pay all his wonderful techs and run the servers for free, it costs money. If people don't pay to play then NF will fail and there will be no game. Thus, the people who actually are paying money to play should be rewarded.
If you want to get a bunch of experts, then you just pay the stupid $9.99 and then get to work for a month until you need them again. Really, honestly, if you like the game so much you are here all the time but you can't be bothered to pitch in $9.99 once or twice a year, then you really don't care.
Of course, the argument will be "Blah blah people pay to win" well guess what, anyone could just as easily BUY the experts anyway. What this does is two things: it rewards people for supporting the game AND it allows expert gain to happen by playing any way you like, not forcing people to play one simple task. Nerf AA, reward supporting the game.
