notes:
The speed changes are to compensate for the loss of speed due to the displacement changes
last week.

The BB6 gun accuracy was accidentally raised twice (my mistake, I copied a previous
request and forgot to take it out), therefore a small nerf is needed. Not sure if this is
enough.

My thoughts:

I am very skeptical of what's going on here. I don't feel this post has been exposed well
enough to the general player base. Ask yourselves, do we really want all these changes?

Personally, I don't think the original BB6's should be touched.

Do we balance according into nation trait, or nation trait + UK trait?

Do we want to balance, or keep the feature so you can have fun playing the "
current " feature it has which isn't supposed to be?


As far as I know, Nation trait is nation trait, mixing should not be the case.
Hell, if someone dislike hangtime, they can go UK or KM. If they dislike horrible
armour penetration, go USN or IJN. If they don't love the lack of AA, you choose
something else, such as MN, IJN,KM,etc.


Seriously, I understand you want to play for fun. But there is time, fun must be put
on top from something else.

This conversation would be of more use in the test server section, that's why it is there
in the first place.

This post has served it's purpose of letting people know what is going on in that
section so they can participate. Now let's please continue the conversation there where
it will be of use and not here where it might go to waste.

I hate that mentality. I've seen 2 gun SY's do a good job at AWing. Wanna nerf them too? A
missing 7,000 tun rear gun could be an exploit. Watch out!

The L1's with 1500 ton guns was an exploit. This is not.

I may sound like a douche, sry to say that. But.... how the hell.
I mean, KM, isn`t meant to be doing 1v1 first of all.
You know this well audessy.

fix exploit/bug & unintended feature. The game is broken as hell, should we choose

Most Kaisers carry AA, which usually gives them a repair rate disadvantage against a QV
and it's great repairers. With Kaisers low damage I don't see how it's OP'd. I think it's
a fair fight in a 1v1 situation.

The BB6's have been the way they are for years. I'd prefer them to remain original. If
this was a problem it should have been fixed a long time ago.

server? Or is it only the BB6 and the number of nations that can viably AW that has caught
your attention?


I know for a fact Flota Chile love to armour everything up the wazoo which makes for an
interesting HA especially when the AW'd ships are on defense. Personally I'm against such
doctrines and agree with Jackie Fisher.

QV default goes 40knots, armoured goes 35.
Kaiser default is 37, armoured goes 34. While keeping its significant range, I can see how
the pundits believe to this to OP. 3 knots difference can be negated with range, but 1
knot difference when both armoured ships are almost identical except kaiser has a
significant range advantage.


Just my thoughts as always.

Kaiser, does bounce kaiser and QV. You kill the best line fighter, and best rusher in
BB6 line fight.
You can bounce charlemagnes, but that requires some trick.


Else, it would be impossible to AP fight, since UK, SN, KM, MN will get shafted.
Nebby pierce over 20,7'' deck armour, yet, it could even go in the 23'' deck, same
goes for Amagi.
That alone break the balance, and it is what they are doing now.


An AW Nebby turns kaiser, QV, useless, and Charlemagnes if you know when to
move 1 few pixel in.
If you feel it is perfectly fine for a ship to be able to bounce other ship, while this
ship is virtually impossible to bounce.
Please, explain how it is balanced.


Nation balance are based on its trait, not according to UK style along the feature it
currently has.


AP meant jack squat, when AP damage is capped for bb6.
1 2 3
