Any of you guys check this out?

I DVR'd it and watched half the 2hr special. Great time lapse img's of the polar Ice caps
melting. So far I've learned that things are not as originally imagined. The Century of
the Human has warmed up the planet by only 2 degree's F but is the root cause of the
intensity of the storms/hurricanes/earth quakes/ floods etc.. The mechanics of our earth
under our feet are very interesting. If you have not watched it the data and facts are def
worth the time.

I have not made it to the last part as I said, but so far this doesn't appear to be an end
of the world zomg run for your lives tv special. Next week is "Area 51Declassified" by 2
scientists that worked there. Guess Area51 turns 50 this month btw.

Check it out and discuss your thoughts?

*I posted this on my fleets site in our non public off topic section too but there are
personalities outside of my Fleet who's opinions and thoughts/conversation I value so its
here too.

Even though we have Nat Geo HD here, the programming seems to be different.
Guess I'll have to wait a few months till they show it here.

Np, it really is worth the time. Accurate real time geology (or whatever Vale said) of the
earth summed up in about 2hrs and answered a great deal of questions of the ground we
stand on.

Crap- I remember seeing adverts for it and wanting to watch it, but forgot to find out
when it aired (was out of town anyway). Definitely looking forward to catching up on it.
Paleoenvironments, climate change, and geoarchaeology played a part in my graduate
research, and it's rare to find any topics in mainstream media that touch on them.

Will try to, er... procure a legal copy... and watch it soon ;)
