No one gets credit for escort kills or planes and or ship attack. you dont nor does your
team. Use your escort wisely, some ppl like my self use an escort for AA and sonar to
detect subs, and i have loaded HH on my cv. You also dont get XP on your crew you use for
your escort as well. only thing escorts do is save you or your team, and gives the other
team a chance to make more attack if you let them shoot your escort.

You gain the chance of blinding the enemy, saving your ship, and possibly the game.
