Gtdawg	I've been playing a couple hours each day for the past several days. And, I've been crashing out of the game once an hour (at least) during this period. And now, in the middle of a Sunday afternoon, I am in the process of downloading 98....NINETY-EIGHT...files. Could someone please tell me what in the blue bloody hell I could possibly need to download? And, why in the hell it is going to take 30 minutes or more to download it considering the size? This picture was taken 5 minutes in to the download. At the time of posting, I am 13 files and 10 minutes. And, just 15 minutes ago, I had 100k attack and watching a teammate fire at the enemy's flagship. Please, do not tell me it is my system either. I work with computers for a living. My system isn't the reason this game screws up constantly.

Please, do not tell me it is my system either. I work with computers for a living. My

Chef_Gravi	This happened to me after crashing during an HA. Needless to sayu i was unable to reload NF until uninstalling and reinstalling the next day. This has happened atleast 5-6 tiumes since the addition of Hackshield.

bloodsky	Oh my gawd. I thought this would never happen. Was on the test server, then exited that and started normal NF. Got in a room, crashed. Patching...

Kyeld	Try applying the manual patch over your installation, I did this when my Launcher kept redownloading files.

Gtdawg	By my count, I've crashed out of the game with a "NavyFIELD is not responding" error either right after the game countdown or right in the middle of a game more than 10 times since yesterday afternoon. I've also downloaded 120-130 files from some phantom update when I try to restart the game. I have already uninstalled, redownloaded, and reinstalled the game, as well. It has become comical now.

Falcon91	@vick I had to put my account to sleep due to unbearable lag, i also contacted my ISP and looked my pc's specs and it's in the recommended for the game...so it's not my ISP or my pc. Until this events over you won't see me on the server, but i suggest SDE/TNF quit blaming ISP's. Needless to say nexicom wasn't to happy to hear you guys blaming them when i have a direct line to there servers and am friends with five of the techs in the main office.

Gtdawg	Excessive is an understatement. However, thank you for passing along this thread. I appreciate, and would greatly welcome, any changes or improvements regarding this and other issues. Obviously, I still like playing this game. It's just frustrating when you have to fight the game itself.

vick11	There has not been anything patched since last Thursday so I can only assume it is attempting to correct a corruption from a crash. I occasionally get a first login, wont load in a room, ctrl+alt+del, restart issue and had one yesterday that then caused two files to patch on restarting the game, but this certainly seems excessive GT. I will highlight the thread.

devildog8	I have had this happen many times before as well, it looks like to me files in the game become unstable where the launcher cant find them, and trys to download them again, problem is when this happens it brings bigger issues, like more crashes and data corruption issues not sure why this does this, but SDE needs to find out why and fix it, the more they add the more the game becomes unstable, and I dont see any fix that they have mentioned to keep this from happening @ vick11 can you get some answer for this please

Pitt_Possum	gt, run a vm, that how i play nf nowadays, works rather good, still crashing, but only the one odd crash a day to remind you of SDE's l33t programming skills.
