Good SS BO is needed when u face an enemy ss(especially those at high
lvl),Wujekfresh explained that.But if u wanna be a bb killer,ghost it

This is the sailor where you want 0 recruits, 0 experts, and 0 veterans. It is basically
just a placeholder.

If the last sailor on a 1 sailor BO dies, nothing happens.
You can still use the BOlike before , though it now weighs nothing.

the guys are right, also there is a proper topic, in "Tip & Tactics" section
of the forum, where it is explained what you need for SS crews:

you can powerlvl any BO in the game. so long as when it reaches the lvl u actually want to
turn it into a BO.
as for the experts and vets thing:
fully BVE a CV BO=more SD
throw only experts and minimal vets on a BB BO for your targeting lines(NO BOOST)
SS B)=dont due anything with it. less experts and vets=less weight=more room for fat supports
also you dont receive any exp nerf for less experts and vets. if u leave it as an
unclassed national sailor it actually receives 120% ? or is it 140% extra exp?
hope this helps

The only useful features of BO on SS are:
- spotting torpedoes earlier (better operating = better spotting disatance)
- some SD

On many submarines neither of this is really useful. Spotting torpedoes is mostly logic.
This or you got good reaction time.

SD from BO is really almost meaningful even when BO is full vetted and experted. Better
use this place to get vets and experts on your repairer/restorer.

Most of subs have very low amount of displacement so ghosting BO is the first thing to do
gain some more displacment. Other is making your torpedo guys on reload cap but with less
sailors (more vets and experts, no recruits).

So BO can really be crappy and you wont notice it. Still having 14 potential / 11 restore
or 11 repair isn't big deal (can be easly rolled), so why not.

On SN SS4 there is plenty of place so my BO is halfway full and I still carry some belt.
On my KM SS4 my BO has 19 vets and nothing more (and those vets I just gained trying to
get rid of experts and experts I gained when leveling on Emden AA my mistake not ghosting
the guy earlier).

I hope this helped.

Any BO will do for a SS as you should ghost him.
Ghosting the BO means leaving just 1 sailor on him by removing all possible recruits.
Don't boost, expert or vet him and yes he's the best candidate for powerlevelling.

Kita BO should be the same.
