Though it would be cool.... You would start to wonder why dont your sailors fly off when a big ole triple 8 incher fires directly above them.... The only sailors that you would be able to see with this happening is automatic AA gunners, but hey you cant even see the gun mounts so why would we see the sailors?

Plus, sailors have recruits..so 1 sailor could have what like 135 sailors on 1 part of ship? Sorry but it seems to much! I agree with vomitz on this

and when you get shot you see them blown off your ship?

nimitz is right on this one...bad idea for this game. Maybe for a 3d game...but not this. Think of some things that aren't cosmetic...Think of suggestions that are functional and serve a purpose other than pleasing the eye. Thats the kinda stuff that should go in here.

Just for the record, adding visible sailors isn't possible as the ships are sprite based. You would need to make new sprite animations for every ship, it would look like crap, and it would make the game more likely to lag in large battles. Plus the scale that the ships are shown at you would only see the sailors as single pixels anyways.
