  • Possible Solution against Overgunned Ships

One thing to leave behind a bad taste in NF are the Overgunned Ships. This is
especially true for DD and FF. I know German Navy used the 5.9" Guns (thats
because the brits classified the according DD's as CL's). But in other Navy`s (exept
the Italian and french, which are not simulated here) that never happend. Not event
to mention the KM 6.75"!

In the way it is DD's are overpowerd and shredd away CL/CA much too easy. So
here is my possible solution:
Split up the gunspots into mounting space and ammo hold!
Resize the mounting space to support standard guns and have the ammomagazine
to give a ample ammount of Ammonition.

This should make up for longer, more exciting fights giving beginners better chances
and making good torpedoskills even more important!

@ daschasman: with torpedoskill i mean the players ability to use torpedos properly.
I appologize if this was misunderstandable, but i am no native englishspeaker!

@ earth: i am sorry but i could'nt find any suggestion like mine in the forums (the
forumsearch does not work well though). If i had seen it, i would'nt have made a
topic!

spamming and go and bump them up or something
