so yah, getting swamped at spawn and not being able to do anything but wait till the game
ends for 30min really sucks.
In some FPS games, spawns had protection, like invincibility for 10 seconds so you could
arm and get moving before 3 CLs smoke you in your little DD.
would give people a fighting chance.

or even a safe area for people to spawn that would give slight damage to enemy ships if
they entered it(and for friendly ships with objectives).
